Disliked: Cleanliness
Place was functional, but disappointed considering the description. Advert photos are obviously old and at one point it was a top end property. Clearly some previous guests had not respected that property and were getting up to untoward things. Used Narcan packs in the kitchen drawer and knives with burn marks on the tips tells a story or two. Overall place was badly cleaned and maintenance was not great, outside seats were broke and the cushions dirty and mouldy. Barbecue was in quite a state and took some cleaning to be usable. Dishwasher was a state to behold. Garage was full of last years leaves which we swept out. All the balconies were covered in cobwebs and dead bugs, looked like people hadn’t been in the place in a while. We got there on the Saturday, when coming back from getting groceries on the Sunday found another family in the driveway with a Sunday to Sunday booking. Called the management company who didn’t seem particularly surprised about the double booking and (I hope) sorted them out. Place was definitely not worth the price paid, would not recommend it or the management company’s efforts. For the price paid I expect attention to detail, it’s those little things that matter and there is nothing they could have done to fix the bad first impression made.It was a family reunion so we made a good situation out of a disappointing one, hence the 3 star review, but otherwise would be 1 or 2. The place was cleaner when we left than when we arrived.
Gutters not cleaned for a while.
Cobwebs, dead bugs on all the balconies.
Dishwasher not cleaned in ages.
Old bird nest and more cobwebs.

Pleasant stay

We had a wonderful time at this property. The place exceeded our expectations. It provided enough silence and privacy for our families. The house was very clean. The backyard had some minor garbage from previous guests, but it wasn't a big deal, and we cleaned it up quickly. Our only suggestion is to have a bigger or newer BBQ, although the current one still works well.
