Looking for the perfect one or two family vacation rental? Look no further! Our 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home is completely remodeled and furnished with comfortable beds and flat screen televisions. Best of all, the house is located in a great neighborhood and is only about 1.5 miles to the lake, 1.5 miles to Heavenly, and 2 miles to the casinos (or about a $15 Uber ride!). If you are looking to save money by cooking at home, you will be thrilled to find Safeway located just about 1 mile away; Safeway also has some of the cheapest gas in town.

There is parking for 2 cars. The house has a central heating system for the winter and ceiling fans throughout for the summertime. High speed wireless Internet and cable television are included.

If you enjoy golfing, but do not want to spend the entire day at course, the local municipal 9 hole golf course is close by. The Bijou Community Park is approximately 1/2 mile from the house and offers a Skateboard Park, Disc Golf Course, Dog Park, Volleyball & Basketball Courts, and plenty of room for recreation. Access to the city's bicycle path is half a block down the street from the house.

Based on City of South Lake Tahoe regulations, maximum occupancy is 6 adults and up to 5 children age 13 or under and maximum number of vehicles is 2. There is a king bed in the downstairs master bedroom, a queen bed in the downstairs guest bedroom, a queen and daybed with two separate twin mattresses in the mid-level room, and one king bed and one queen bed in the upstairs room. The layout is perfect for a large family, for two families, or for a good group of friends looking to have a good time in town, on the slopes, or on the lake and then return to a pleasant and peaceful neighborhood. Please note the mid-level room is a pass through bedroom, meaning folks need to walk through to get to the upstairs bedroom, so not as private as the other three bedrooms.

The house is equipped with an electronic lock so you do not have to worry about sharing or losing a key, and it is equipped security cameras to help safeguard your property.

Minimum age for the renter is 30 years old.

Checking in was easy, checking out was easy. This house was really clean and we had no issue with anything. Kitchen was large and easy to cook in. Enough room for all 7 of us without ever feeling cramped. Would definitely stay here again.

great trip!

We had a great time here! Lots of games for us at the house + ping pong! Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, etc. We did have a rainy day so it was nice to be able to hang out at the house and play games, bbq and watch movies on the big screen tv. thanks!

Amazing spacious and good location

This property was so much bigger than I expected. It was clean and was filled with small things that you might’ve forgotten on your stay, the location was great as well. Close to all the stores as well as a short drive to the water ! Already plan to come back here next time I have a trip to Tahoe

I agree with another review, pictures don't do justice. The inside is very spacious. I had 10 people in my party and we were very comfortable. The kitchen has a lot of supplies; plates, utensils, blender, coffee maker, air fryer, pots/pans, etc. The kids played in the snow in the backyard, front yard and even down and across the street (a 2min walk). The house is in a perfect location, close to everything. I definitely will recommend this house and would stay here again!

I just want to say that this home was perfect. My family really loved how clean it was. The bathrooms even had shampoo and conditioner we buy for are home. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We will come back again to this home fore sure. I highly recommend this cozy home.

Amazing Stay

We had the best time at Rancho Bijou. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of entertainment for the kids and a cute backyard with a place for them to play. The location was perfect. Just a short drive to restaurants, shops, resorts, etc. I would highly recommend this rental and hope to stay there again in the future.

Relaxing stay

We went for a weekend getaway and it was great. We are a large family of eight (six kids). There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook/clean. Very close to everything! We definitely enjoyed it and will be back. Thank you!!

This was the perfect location and size for 12 of us visiting Tahoe for the weekend! John was extremely communicative and accommodating. He has a beautiful and spacious home minutes away from downtown. Highly recommend staying here!

Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect VRBO rental for my family. There was plenty of towels, charcoal for the grille, seasonings for cooking, food containers, etc. This home felt like a home and was well furnished versus some rentals that are barely stocked with minimal furnishings.

Great place to stay in South Lake Tahoe!

My friends and I had plans for a birthday weekend getaway to Bass Lake, but due to fire, our plans were canceled. Last minute we thought maybe we would look to see if there was anything that could accommodate the 9 of us in Tahoe. Luckily for us, someone had just canceled this place so I booked right away. I'm so glad I did! This place accommodated us perfectly. John was super responsive. Everything we needed was there. We loved the big table so we could all sit down and eat together. The ping pong table was super fun! Overall, it was such a nice experience. We look forward to staying here again in the future! Thanks, John :)

Super nice place. The location was perfect for us. Super quiet at night away from busy streets yet short distance from the lake, amenities and bike paths. John was really easy to communicate with so no problems there. Would definitely stay again next visit !!

Great Location, Great Property, Great owner!!!

This property was very spacious and well maintained. We had a large group and the large kitchen and dining area made it perfect for cooking meals. The house is minutes away from Heavenly and other great lake spots. John was very easy to communicate with and was timely with any questions I had. The one and only very minor detail I would like to see changed is having a gas grill for outside. I still rate this property 5 stars but having that gas grill would be the icing on it for me. I look forward to returning and staying here again. Thank you John for allowing us to stay at your property!!!

Cozy and Comfortable

Stayed for 5 nights and have no complaints, It was perfect. I feel that the house is much bigger than how It appears online and was pleasantly surprised by the backyard (corn hole, charcoal grill, outdoor seating.) In the garage they allow you to borrow bikes, boards and sleds. The owner was responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. Definitely recommend! Thank you!
