Our stay was horrible was put in a room with Roaches when brought to employee attention nothing was done to rectify the situation. The employee stated there was people in that room for 3 months before us and the room shouldn't have been booked

Almost perfect...

We love our stay there! Just a 5 min walk to the beach and hotel was really nice too. The staff was awesome.. except for the young guy, who checked me in. I got there right before New Year's and the guy acted like he didn't want to be there! Didn't say hi, took my ID and credit card, type on the computer for a full 5 min, without a word or eye contact, then hands me the keys, still without a word! This is how they welcome you here on NYE?!? I was so disappointed. Then I asked him, is there anything I need to know, breakfast... I couldn't believe this! It's too bad, because after that, everything was awesome. All the other employees were welcoming, smiling, helpful.. except for that guy, he has no business working at the front desk, or at minimum, he needs some serious re-training! Other than that, I really did love my stay and the hotel!

I tried to get a little compensation for having to leave a day early of our 4 night booking due to husband’s health (81 with mild dementia). Since I booked thru Expedia, Desiree, the manager, would not help at all even after mentioning we gave up a handicap room for another guest by request from the hotel the day before we arrived. I tried to go through Expedia but apparently once you check in you can’t make any changes to your booking. Beware! On the good side, Heather, at the desk in the evening, was very kind and as helpful as she could be. The room was very comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was very enjoyable and substantial.

The place was excellent and exceeded our expectations. They were having troubles with the door keys and we had to reset them four times in one day, but other than that, it was great and a technical glitch, it happens.
