2 bedroom, 2 bath, NEWLY REMODELED, DIRECT BEACHFRONT condo offers amazing views from the top floor of Suntide II. Vaulted ceilings and clerestory windows offer an openness you will not find in other condos. Large deck, Living Room and Master Bedroom face the GULF. New furniture, appliances and furnishings. Sleeps 5 plus roll away. Condo also offers awesome views of the bay and sunsets. Continue reading to see how to save $ on your booking.

NOTE: Pool resurfacing taking place from April 21, 2025 to May 9, 2025. Hot tub and sun deck should remain open. Rates for those dates have been discounted. No further credit will be issued for pool being down.

Truly wonderful condo!!!
This place is perfect! Completely updated decor with lovely furnishings and lots of space and natural light coming in from the upper windows. Kitchen is fully appointed with everything you could ever need. Super nice resin furniture on the beach side balcony and nicely furnished space right outside the front door to enjoy the sunsets too. And Brent is fantastic, making reservations and arrival and departure an absolute breeze. If you are going to South Padre YOU WANT TO RENT THIS CONDO!!!

The Suntide II is one of the most desirable condo complexes on the island. Covered parking, heated pool, hot tub, volley ball and tennis courts adds to the uniqueness of this condo complex. We feel we have one of the most desirable (some would say the most desirable) condo at the Suntide II. It is on the top floor with open ceilings and clerestory windows facing the Gulf allowing plenty of light into the condo. The Suntide II has a stepped front with 3 units/ floor offering a full panoramic view of the Gulf and Beach. Our condo is one of those 3 and being on the top floor, it offers the best views. Our condo also has amazing views to the West allowing visitors to enjoy bay views and sunsets. Most SPI beachfront condos do not offer those westerly views.

Our condo is true BEACHFRONT. Don't be fooled by those listing their condo as beachfront and offer only side views, partial views or no views as some think they have a beachfront condo facing a parking lot but the complex is beachfront. Those are not beachfront (BEWARE - Look at the pictures and where the pictures are taken).

We have recently remodeled our condo. Sorry to bore some with details but others like details so here we go. We repainted the entire condo. Painting was not enough. We spent the additional time/expense with a knockdown finish to add to the beauty of the interior. Tastefully colored walls not just boring white or such wild colored walls you want to leave as soon as you arrive (we've all been there). Fresh white trim and new interior doors. Mostly new furniture. The master bedroom offers a comfort firm Sealy mattress with individually pocketed coils. The master bathroom area was redesigned for additional comfort and ease of movement. The entry to the closet and bathrooms was relocated and enlarged. The shower area of the bathroom is now private and large enough to dry off after a shower. The old 23" door to the toilet/shower area (typical for Suntide II condos) was enlarged to 32". Some condos at the Suntide have the toilet room wall removed to eliminate the small opening but that does not allow for privacy that most guests want. Both bathrooms have new granite counters. The kitchen also went through some major changes. New granite counter tops, new sink, tiled back splash and updated cabinets. A few other items that some condo owners/management companies overlook that were updated during the remodel: The bedroom that is near public access has privacy blinds (most condos throughout the island that we've seen overlook this detail). Our clerestory window blinds are remote controlled. Some leave them open for their guests, some close them (non-adjustable due to accessibility). We felt our guests should have the choice in what they want so we installed the hard to find/costly motorized blinds. All new blinds throughout the condo. New oar motif in master bedroom and living room offers a fresh and simple beachfront look. Owners of this condo spent a lot of time and effort on the big and the little things that you will notice the minute you walk in the door.

Flat screen TV in all rooms. New 65" Flat screen in Living Room. 50" flat screen TV in Master Bedroom. Smart TV's in all rooms.
DVD player with some family friendly DVD's in condo.
Kitchen is wonderfully equipped with most everything you would need with new stainless steel appliances.

One king bed in Master bedroom, one queen and one twin in 2nd bedroom. There is a small cot for the 6th person in your group(child recommended for the cot). One full size sofa and two love seats in the living room. New dining room table accommodates 6 with 4 additional stools at breakfast nook.

Save Money $$$. -- Owners of this condo also manage the condo and accept the bookings. Many condo owners hire management companies to rent out and manage their condos. Additional management fees, damage waivers and check-out fees are added to the reservation. Book this condo and save those extra fees and charges. We offer competitive rates. If you have a question or need a quote, please contact the owner before making the reservation.

Hurricane policy: We will refund nights caused by mandatory evacuation of the island. We do not refund due to bad weather.

SPRING BREAK/TEXAS WEEK ---- PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING ----- Message the owner with number of occupants and ages BEFORE BOOKING CONDO. Your spring break reservation is not guaranteed. References and additional damage deposit will be required. FAMILIES on spring break may receive a discount so please contact owner for special rates if available. Building and condo will be monitored during spring break. If you want to party than this is not the condo for you. During Spring Break, wrist bands for the stay may be required.

Pets are NOT allowed at this facility. Anyone bringing a pet will be required to leave with NO refund (HOA rules).

Just a quick note about linens and supplies. All linens are provided except for beach towels. There is no maid or towel service. For extended stays, you can have the maid "spruce" up the condo during your stay for an additional charge (you can work that out directly with the cleaning service/phone number provided). There are washer and driers across the hall for $3.50/load to clean clothes or clean towels. There will be one roll of paper towel and 4 rolls of toilet paper provided for each stay. Additional paper products are the responsibility of the guest.

Parking. There will be one parking pass to park on the Suntide II grounds for each reservation. There are provisions for front to back parking near the street for 2 cars. When we have 2 cars there, we park one on the grounds and one on the street. This is typical of condo rentals on SPI. All 4 condos we have been involved in only provide 1 parking pass per reservation. Land is a premium and very few have parking for more than one vehicle.

Stayed the second week of February and this is one of the best units we've stayed in. Everything was perfect and the pictures don't do it justice. The view of the gulf is amazing, the sunrises beautiful and the sunsets breathtaking. Suntide II is located in a nice neighborhood with a Dollar General, Blackbeard's restaurant and several other businesses two blocks away. There was little to no road noise on Gulf Blvd.while we were there and the weather was perfect the whole week. We spent a lot of time on the beach and the pool is heated along with a hot tub which we took advantage of. The management company is in the process of upgrading the chairs and lounges around the pool and on the sundeck. There is pretty good fishing in front of the unit, there were three or four fishermen out every morning. The closet in the smaller bedroom has beach equipment including four bag chairs, beach toys and skim board. There is also a rollaway bed. This bedroom has two beds in it, a double and a twin bed. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of pots and pans, dishes and small appliances, blender, toaster, nice range and microwave too. There is lots of room to stretch out, couches are very comfortable and there are four bar stools at the counter. One nice feature is the side board table that has outlets and USB ports built in. The TV is amazingly clear and has local cable, Netflix and other streaming services. WiFi works great even out on the balcony. We like the higher chairs.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful beach condo for our girls/birthday weekend. As long-time supporters of Sea Turtle Inc. ourselves, it was clear the owners share that same passion for sea turtles. Instructions for getting into the condo were simple and clear, and the beautiful views made it even better. The dĂ©cor was a relaxing coastal vibe with the sea turtle touches and ocean inspired accents. It had all the basic necessities to support our stay as well. Overall, it’s a very nice place to stay and was the perfect spot to relax, laugh, and make more island memories with my best friend of nearly 40 years.

We had to use a bowl from the kitchen to fill the toilet reservoir with water because the tank wouldn’t fill in the master bathroom. Unfortunately, there isn’t security on the property, so the rampant use of marijuana was everywhere. We had to explain to our children what they were smelling
.then came the litany of questions that followed. This isn’t an issue of the property owner, just the lack of HOA oversight. It appears they are more interested in towing cars than policing illegal drug use.The inside of the condo is in great shape! It’s misleading because the outside of the condominium is extremely outdated and needs a facelift. The inside was very well furnished and maintained. Kuddos to the couple that own it.

The only issue was I asked about parking and was finally notified that there is only one space. I wished this was posted in the description as we were meeting some friends and had more than one vehicle. I would also mention the amenities were a little light in no Kleenex, and bar soap or body wash for both the sink and shower. Soaps for dishwasher and kitchen sink were very limited also for a 3 day stay. So, you may want to be prepared. Overall, I would go back and be prepared for items mentioned. The lower rating is only on communication with the property manager. I had sent an email a couple of days earlier on the parking which was not answered until I called on the day of check in. Secondly, when I called he must been having a bad day since he mentioned that all accomodations restrict parking to one car and questioned how many places have you stayed on the island. I have over 30 years of going to the island and have stayed where more than one parking space was available. What am I supposed to do start listing all the places I have stayed in the last 30 years. Just the attitude on the response is what bother us but we still had a great weekend at the location.

What a view!

Property was clean and beautifully remodeled and decorated. Amenities were great and location was close to everything. Easy parking. The view from the balcony was amazing and I loved that I could hear the waves at night.

The cleaning people forgot to clean penthouse before we checked in we had to wait for them to clean it. After that start the stay was enjoyable the penthouse was very nice and had a great view of the gulf. We had a great Christmas and we would stay there again if we come back to S Padre Island again. Nice place!

The condo was very nice and the owner was easy to work with. Great location, comfortable furniture etc. We recommend it. Bed is quite firm which my husband really liked.
