My wife and I had stayed there before and thought highly of the resort. I booked for friends that were visiting. And unfortunately the resort let me down. Their room was not kept very well and service seemed to be lacking. I personally went over and spoke to someone at the front desk and she acted as if it was a bother.

This hotel is in an excellent location. It has very good access to the beach, and the beach itself is much more open and wide than locations further north. The pool area is very nice and there is often live music in the evening. The staff is also very friendly.

There were many things about our stay that need improvement. The TV screen would freeze and then jump to real time and we would miss part of the program, this would happen every 5-10 minutes. The front desk said that it was because of the wind but it was like that all 4 days and it wasn’t windy all the time. The tiny in-room fridge actually warmed food on the top shelf. I had some cantaloupe in there and the heat ruined it, I had to throw it out. The 2 queen beds are on wheels, not sure why. They constantly moved just from being sat on. The beds would roll away from the wall, we kept having to push them back up against the wall. Lastly, there’s an exhaust fan in the bathroom that was filthy. It was very dirty with layers of dust, really needs to be cleaned. The thick dirt and dust could be seen through the fan grill.

the room was clean overall. the bed squeaked anytime i moved in my sleep which would wake me. i did not have hot water when i showered the fridge kept our drinks cold. the noise from honking trucks at 9am was pretty annoying so ask for a room facing the pool if possible. the view from the balcony was great. check in was a breeze and the complimentary margarita a check in was a plus.

However I went with my 7 and 11 year old Wich we love to enjoy the beach and pool . Their were tons of adults drunk and rude to us at pool area.. A lady was extremely rude to them
