WELCOME TO OUR VACATION HOME
We look at the warm sand and rolling waves from our private beachfront balcony when not on the beach. We can't wait for you to see it for yourself. Our open-floor living areas include a sunny yet calming living room, a warm dining space with seating for 6, and a renovated kitchen. Our living room pulls the seaside in with its charming sofas and soothing colors. You'll never want to leave. Our dining room is ideal for completing a puzzle with the kids or gathering around for taco night. Nestled beside our dining space is our fully renovated kitchen with a skylight and full-size appliances. Stock the pantry with fresh ingredients from our charming local grocery, Blue Marlin, and whip up a seafood feast. Our kitchen has a breakfast bar for 4, which is excellent for keeping the kids fed during your morning pancake buffet.

With an incredible view, an ensuite bathroom, a dresser, and a closet, our primary bedroom is a tranquil utopia fit for royalty. Wake up every morning to the sunrise over the Gulf, then enjoy your private bathroom with double sinks and a beautiful walk-in shower. You will love having a space all to yourself while your guests make use of our guest bedroom. It has two queen beds and a sunny window that lights up at sunset. Our guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo, modern fixtures, and a stacked washer and dryer so you can wash the sand away before heading home.

WELCOME TO SAIDA TOWERS
Welcome to Saida Towers, South Padre Island's premier beachfront social resort. It has 3 pools, 3 hot tubs, a kiddie pool, an outdoor drink and snack bar, tennis courts, a shuffleboard court, and direct beach access. All this is wrapped in tropical grounds bordered by award-winning restored dunes and white-sand beaches. Seasonally, there are on-site rentals for tennis and shuffleboard equipment and chair and umbrella rentals on the sand. Saida Towers is within walking distance of shopping centers, restaurants, and activities. Saida Towers has everything you look for in a beachfront resort rental.

- We strictly enforce guest capacity.
- This rental is family-friendly and non-smoking.
- Professionally laundered and sanitized linens may be exchanged for free on the east side of our off-site Guest Welcome Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Laundry detergent and sofa sleeper linens are available upon request at our off-site Guest Welcome Center.
- The pet fee is $25 a day plus taxes. Only small, non-shedding, well-behaved dogs are allowed.

RESORT FEES
All reservations with stay dates from March 4th to April 4th require a one-time per-person Resort Fee of $33.

Please notify us of the number of guests in your group for whom the resort fee will apply.
The resort fee will be applied to the reservation and paid with the final payment 30 days before arrival.

We had a great stay. People we met were all nice. Gated community which is nice. Scott at the tiki bar was amazing. View from our balcony was great. You could see the Gulf of America and the Bay.

Great Spacious Condo

This is a great condo, very large and recently updated. We loved our time there and hope to return! Excellent location and large balcony with beach views. Grounds and pools were also very nice.

Nice getaway

Very clean, updated room. With perfect view with just enough shade, not full direct sun. Resort very nice, with 3 pools to choose. Beach access easy and beach itself very clean and clear.

Great value for a nice & simple family getaway. Would stay again. Lots of space in condo. Nice pools and direct beach access. Felt safe with gated in property and security on site. Comfy beds and living room furniture. Only reason for 4 stars (not 5) is the check in location not being onsite, the patio furniture could be better, and some minor “weather wear” to bldg, and in condo (paint/plaster/wood furniture) but not surprising for the climate.

Bigger than expected!

We were pleasantly surprised as most times when you rent one of these properties there small. But when we walked in the saw large and open it was we were excited. The other good part was that the master bedroom is on one side in that second bedroom is on the opposite side so it does give you some privacy!betwetoomsrooms

This location was a short walk to the beach with great views and amenities. However, we were relocated twice due to units not having working a/c. The final room had a strong mildew smell and sleeping arrangements that were not suited for our group and not what we paid for. We've attempted to reach a manager several times but have yet to get a return call.

Good overall, but a bit worn

We enjoyed our stay. And the unit was decent all in all. Furniture was nice, but the decorations and unit were a bit worn. And the window blinds were missing a number of pieces, meaning people could see into our kids room, and morning sun shone into the main bedroom. Still, we enjoyed ourselves and the unit and location.

Overall the condo is nicely appointed and good location. There were some minor defects that were noticed - close doors in master bed were off the tracks and could not be used. Some peeling paint in master bath.

Dirty but close.

There was mold on the ceiling. And the housekeepers didn't wash the dishes properly that there were old scrambled eggs in the frying pan and between the spatula. And there were some dirty socks under the bed. The good things are it's near the beach, and the heated pool was nice.

Good stay

Overall, the place was clean, the balcony furniture was comfortable, and there was plenty of space. There is mildew or mold in the master bedroom near the ceiling by the window. The TV/Cable set up is very temperamental. I think the space was good, but the managing company makes it sound like they are truly here to make your stay better, but both times I reached out to them during the stay, they completely ignored me. They did make up the sleeper sofa for us when I asked them to prior to arriving.

Nice property, but too many "rules"

Nice property and convenient to beach. Gated and monitored by security, which is nice but a bit too "strict". For example, we were kicked off tennis court for using to throw football with kids under 10. We chose the court because throwing in the grass around property could have resulted and stray through by a kid hitting a person walking the many sidewalks. Playing in 1 of the 4 vacant courts was the safest option for all guests, but were told needed get off court. Also, no kids in hot tub even while parent supervised and no other guests present. Again, nice and convenient property, but hard to entertain kids without "breaking any rules" when not at beach....

Would not recommend

We booked this property for 5 nights and left after night three. The pictures look much better than the actual property. Everything from the moment you arrive makes you feel unwelcome. The front door is peeling, there is black mold on the ceiling of the owners suite, the cheap coffee maker had burn marks, the toaster was rusty. Not any of the pots had a flat bottom to properly cook. Lamp shade in the living room is badly stained and the windows were very dirty. The entire place is in desperate need of renovation and to me, it looks like the pictures were taken years and years ago. I would not recommend booking this place.

Winter Warm Up

The condo is very spacious, is nicely updated and has an amazing view from a spacious balcony. It was clean and comfortable. The Saida facility is very nice with well maintained grounds and buildings and is conveniently located. The management company (Padre Island Rentals) was great to deal with and attentive to problems, for example: the water supply valve was leaking in one of the bathrooms - we contacted PIR and they addressed and repaired the leak immediately. Suggestions for future enhancements: (1) we believe the kitchen could have been stocked with a better assortment of plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc., (2) put a bare-floor vacuum in the unit so that guests can do a good job of cleaning up every couple of days and (3) put a "mat" or "shoe tray" near the front door to store sandy shoes. We have owned a vacation rental property for many years at a ski resort in the Rockies and have learned that the last two suggestions help to keep things clean. I highly recommend this unit.

Other than having problems with the keypad upon entering, we didn’t have any problems.

It was fantastic. The view from the balcony was breath taking. The condo itself was very very spacious and very clean. Would recommend to anyone wanting to go to SPI.

Loved the beach and pools!

The location, beach, and pools were fabulous! The condo was spacious, but poorly appointed in the kitchen. There was serious mold on the ceiling in the master bedroom, possibly making me sick. The coffee pot was old and rusty. The door to the deck was dirty, rusty, and the lock was broken. Both bathroom mirrors were covered with peeling paint. We’ll definitely return to South Padre Island, but want to stay someplace where the photos are current and the condo is well-maintained.

Great place even with minor issues experienced!

Great location! Large place- 3 pools and a few steps to the beach! This is one of the cleanest beaches I have seen! About the place: Kitchen- it was awesome cooking our own meals. Bring your own condiments, cooking oil, etc but they have pots and pans, toaster, blender, etc. Linens- plenty of towels, washcloths,etc. but bring your own beach towel. spacious- two bedrooms are on the opposite sides of the condo. Very spacious dining/living room area. Master bedroom- amazing view but the corner of the ceiling was spotted with black specs of mold (like a 1 by 1 foot area). Balcony- amazing! Large and had multiple chairs and tables for some relaxing in the warmth- beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. Issue (with an otherwise WONDERFUL stay!): We were disappointed because 2 of the days from 9am to 2pm there were water outages in our condo. The first day there was no warning (or even any message from the rentals informing us) so we found out when we couldn’t shower in the AM or make coffee, and then called the rental company and we’re informed about a burst pipe. The second day, there was a text warning us; so that was at least helpful in planning (plus, we checked out the second day of the water outage, so we just planned ahead by filling the sinks/pots and pans with water ahead of time. When I called the rental company (before I was aware that it was a condo-wide issue) they empathized but didn’t offer any discount or anything; I understand that it may not have been their fault- but it still would have been nice to have some type of accommodation offered; especially since we did not rent a car and we’re depending on the tap water as our source of drinking water. Also another minor inconvenience was that we had to check in 27 blocks from where we were staying and when we checked in there, all we got was a piece of paper with the door code. It seemed as though it would have been smoother if a code had just been sent to me via VRBO or text/email/etc. This may not be an issue for someone who has a rental car, but we were on foot and Lyfts/Ubers were hard to come by, so we had to drag our rolling suitcases the whole way. Overall, this was a nice place, even with some minor issues :)
