Welcome to 6502 Fountain Way, our "Tortuga by the Sea!" This private home is located within the Villas of South Padre, a gated oceanfront subdivision with a community pool and hot tub. The home boasts 4 bedrooms and 4 and 1/2 bathrooms, a spacious open concept kitchen, living and dining area - plus a quaint reading corner, secondary living room, utility room with a washer and dryer & much more!

Whether you're traveling with family, a group of friends, or looking for a romantic getaway with tons of space, we know you will LOVE this home.
Guests have the choice of two Master Suites and two guest bedrooms. The first Master Suite features a roomy King size bed, large flat screen TV, large walk-in closet and a quiet private balcony. The en-suite bathroom has an oversized soaking tub, plus a walk-in shower. The second Master suite encompasses the entire 3rd floor, features a cozy King bed, private bathroom with walk-in shower and its own balcony as well. Guests also have the choice of a third bedroom, equipped with a Queen size bed, flat screen TV and attached bathroom, or the fourth guest bedroom, featuring two bunk beds with full size bottom bunks and twin size top bunks. The fourth bedroom also has an attached bathroom with walk-in shower and a massive flat screen TV. Its the perfect room for kids, teens or young adults!

We know you won't want to leave this beautiful house, but if you can, the private beach access is just steps from your door.

Beautiful home

The space is huge - plenty of room for the group of 10 of us. We enjoyed the community pool - actually we were the only ones at the pool all week! Easy beach access - we walked the beach every day, but with windy conditions, relaxed poolside rather than beachside. The host was accessible and responded immediately to all questions. I suggest people read all of the information before booking - the community to very strict about guests and does not allow others to visit property. We have family in the area and they were not allowed to visit our rental home. This is clearly outlined in the property details. It would have been nice to have some flexibility with this; however, I understand why this is the case given spring break crowds. Overall - beautiful home and great location. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Beach Vacay

Lovely time at the Tortuga by the Sea rental. It was better than expected. Beautiful, comfortable home with great attention to detail. Great for large groups to be together and have privacy with the great layout of bedrooms. Clean, convenient and just a two block walk to the beach.

South Padre gem.

This property was so comfortable. Excellent floor plan for a group of three couples. Huge kitchen, dining area, gathering great room area. Excellent house size for spreading out and having your own space when you wanted. Great beds, bathrooms, well equipped kitchen (with the exception of too few dish towels provided, though not an issue). Very clean!

Magnificent time! House was huge and loved that everyone had their own bathrooms. Nice short walk to the beach! Could’ve used extra towels and hangers. There wasn’t any extras in the kitchen like towels, salt pepper, condiments etc. that would’ve been nice to have. Other than those small items we would definitely book again!!

Nice Place

Pros: *This place is really nice and is very close to the beach. Less than a 5 minute walk to beach *Big place *We had a leak in the kitchen sink and we called maintenance. They came literally within 10 minutes. They were very responsive. * Gated community with 24 hour security guards. Cons: *Place was a little dirty (to be expected with sand from the beach) but the vacuum does not work well at all. The floors were sandy when we first got there. We actually ended up sweeping to get a little bit of sand up in the entry way. *Check in was slow and given you can’t check in until 4:00 makes it even later. Only one person in the office at a time (understand b/c of Covid but still was slow). *It advertised towels. However there were none. They brought us a few and said they would bring more but never did. There are also no dish towels so we had to use Hand towels to dry dishes. Overall, I would stay at this place again although it is expensive. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Perfect family/friend beach house!

This home was the perfect spot for our recent visit to SPI. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 kids. The layout was awesome 
 having the kitchen and main living space on the first floor was wonderful and the bunk room was awesome for the kids. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy for us to eat all meals at the house. The proximity to the beach and pool can’t be beat. The house was in great condition, especially based on how much wear and tear the salty air produces down there. Highly recommend (just don’t book the week we want next year, ha!)!!!

Great Family House

This house was great for our family of seven with young kids. Very spacious house and super convenient to walk to the beach. Kitchen well stocked with lots of chef’s needs and garage stocked with beach toys and a wagon which was super helpful. Property management had to come out twice for a clogged toilet and clogged disposal and arrived within minutes of our calls each time and fixed the issues quickly.

We loved our time at this property, in South Padre! This community has direct beach access through a gate which is extremely helpful with young children. The pool is also a bonus for additional activities! This home felt like a retreat! We will be back!

Tortuga was an amazing property.

Brought my family and my sisters family. We had a great time the house was huge and only steps to beach. They had ping-pong table which was fun for the family and the beach toys were nice. However the chairs and sun canopy were nice but were pretty rusty but we made them work. The property was great and will go again.

Great home for two families with kids

We had a wonderful long weekend with our four year old and our friends with their three year old. The house was perfect for two families, so much space, everyone got their own bathroom, plenty of amenities. The house was spotless, well stocked, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Easy walk to beach and pool, and there were plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys for us to use. The beds were all super comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!
