Cozy Loft Bunkie | Sleeps 4 | BBQ + Fire Pit
Welcome to Dreaming Out Loud, the very first bunkie at Bunkie Land, creatively inspired by musician Frank Kadillac of Neon Dreams. Tucked into the forest, this cozy glamping retreat was designed for musicians, writers, artists, and dreamers looking to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with nature.
Play guitar on the deck, write beside the fire pit, sip your morning coffee surrounded by trees, or wander the nearby forest paths leading toward the Herbert River. Dreaming Out Loud blends rustic charm with simple comforts for a peaceful unplugged escape.
The bunkie features a loft double bed, a sofa bed on the main floor, and a kitchenette with coffee essentials, toaster, and air fryer for easy meals. Guests can also enjoy a private barbecue on the deck with complimentary propane included, along with a complimentary starter bundle of firewood for cozy evenings around the fire pit. Large windows bring in natural light and views of the surrounding woods, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere day and night.
Bunkie Land is a growing tiny cabin and glamping community located in the wild heart of Nova Scotia. Each bunkie has its own personality and theme while still being connected through shared pathways, outdoor gathering spaces, and a spirit of community. I really enjoyed my stay at the "dreaming out loud" cabin/bunkie.The property is hits the mark for the "luxury glamping" market. Well constructed cabins and beautifully decorated and painted. beautiful property with a nice trail and river access. The shared bathrooms were amazing; solid concrete floor, heated building, full plumbing, huge, hot showers. The hot tub was very comfortable and nicely placed at the bottom of the hill, out of view of the road. The bunkies were orientated properly, facing the stream and away from the road and access trail.I have stayed at other "luxury glamping" properties in the province and this one does it right. Potable water in the room, full plumbing toilets, lofted sleeping area, fully stocked kitchen, provided firewood, lofted ceilings bring a lot of dimension to a small square footage. These items aren't just details. When they aren't provided, the property feels weak and unfinished. Bunkie land does it right.I will be staying again.
