We just stopped over for a night on a road trip just needing a place to sleep before hitting the road again. This motel exceeded our expectations. The man that checked is in had the keys waiting for us and was very friendly. The room was roomy and comfortable. It was very close to the main strip so super convenient to go have a run on the beach before heading off. There was a bit of mould in the shower but not enough to be overly concerned. We will be looking for accommodation here the next time we are in South West Rocks.

We only stayed there for the one night as we were in town for a surprise birth party. We arrived a little earlier that check in, but the owner allowed us to check in a little earlier. He ( the owner?) was friendly and knew who we were there for. lol. Except for a small stain on the bottom of the quilt cover, I found the room quite spacious and very clean otherwise. Lots of parking that was convenient to the room. The room was well stocked with tea, coffee etc. Water wass nice and hot and did not take long to come through. When we checked out the owner was in reception and came to our car to collect the key so I didn't have to get out. Overall I was happy with the stay and if my usual accommodation at swr was full of family I would happily stay there again

Everything very acceptable. Easy check-in and helpful staff. Breakfast deal welcome (1 free breakfast per room). A bit tired but very clean and tidy. Short drive to town and beach.

Best motel on the Mid-North Coast!

I adore the Costa Rica Motel, it's very clean, peaceful and comfortable. I have a bad back and the beds here are really good. Firm but comfortable.

Staff were amazing!!! Room was absolutely great… Can’t believe it’s only classed as 3.5 Stars totally underrated. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else to be honest… Such a great time for the kids for the night. Pool was amazing. Next day breakfast amazing…. Don’t over spend, no need at all.
