The Space:
A Little Bit of Bliss by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful countryside of Southampton, in Western Australia. Just outside Balingup, only 2.5hrs away from Perth, our holiday homes are accessible via Forrest Highway and Kwinana Freeway State Route 2.
Perched on the edge of a serene blue gum forest, the tiny house offers stunning views of the expansive pine forest nearby. For those seeking adventure, explore the natural beauty of Golden Valley Tree Park or meet friendly animals at Cuddly Farm.
Discover the charm of nearby towns like Balingup and Bridgetown, enjoy a winery tour in the renowned Margaret River Region, or marvel at the giant ancient trees in the Valley of the Giants.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot showers.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surroundings. Please be advised that we have potential free-roaming farm animals on our property.
Preorders are available with 24 hrs prior notice:
- A personal caravan can be rented out for $50 per night and is recommended to bring your own bedding.
The Neighborhood:
A Little Bit of Bliss by Tiny Away sits in Southampton, Australia, just 2.5 hours away from Perth. Our tiny house is located near the Blackwood River that runs through the town and makes your stay more serene and close to nature.
Wander around the Valley of the Giants and discover ancient and giant tingle trees called "Treetop Walk," a 600-meter-long elevated walkway 40 meters above the forest floor. You can also enjoy a tour at Margaret River Region for its stunning scenery and wineries.
Set for a medieval tour at Balingup village and see the famous annual Medieval Carnivale, where visitors can experience jousting, feasting, and medieval reenactments. Enjoy peaceful walking trails at Golden Valley Tree Park while seeing century-old tree collection.
Getting Around:
By car:
- From Balingup to Donnybrook - 22 minutes - 30kms.
- From Balingup to Bridgetown - 18 minutes - 26kms.
By public transport:
- Not accessible by public transport.
Other Things to Note:
- No unregistered guests allowed
- BBQ grill is available over the firepit.
- Please bring your own drinking water.
- No smoking allowed, except in designated areas
- Telstra has a good signal, while the rest has no signal.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.
Important note:
- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
