Everything has a feeling of quality. Location is good, on a quiet pedestrianised street about 10 minutes walk from the ferry port, front and old town. Our room was spacious and very nicely furnished with a comfortable bed, supportive pillows and plenty of room in the bathroom. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful too, particularly in helping to get my wife’s glasses mended. Breakfast is served outside in a garden room, which was a little chilly on the first day (there is an option to have breakfast in your room) and while the choice is not huge (understandable given there are only six rooms) the eggs and omelettes we had were beautifully cooked and tasted delicious. We had high expectations and were not disappointed.

A nice, petit bed and breakfast in an excellent location just steps from Diocletian's Palace. The property is well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Excellent service. Wonderful breakfast in the courtyard.

The property is tucked away in a quiet, charming neighborhood, offering a peaceful retreat while still being just a short walk from wonderful local restaurants and the historic old city sights. The rooms are comfortable and well cared for, and the atmosphere feels both welcoming and authentic. Mia is an exceptional hostess whose pride in the family inn is evident in every detail, from the way she shares stories of what was once her family home to the genuine care she shows her guests. Wonderful short stay!

We had a wonderful three night stay at Balatura. The hotel is a quick walk from old town but in such a quaint and quiet location. It is a small, family run hotel, which was great for us, as we were able to get quality rest without the noise of neighbors, music, doors slamming, etc. All of the staff was extremely kind and weren’t overbearing. Breakfast is ordered the day/evening before and while a small menu, worked out well for my wife and I. The parking is down a small side road in an open, gated lot. The hotel let us keep the key for the gate the entire stay. As a side note, paying for parking is separate and they only take cash - I had to go to the ATM during check out because we thought we could pay with card; not a big deal to us, as ATMs are close by. If we ever come back to Split, we will definitely stay here again!

It is very close to the city centre; A few minites walk to the ferry pier. Resturaunts and palace are close by. You just have to be ready to pull your luggage a few meters as the car cannot drive upto the property.

The property is very nice, beautiful rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was great. The location is convenient and walkable distance to everything. The only thing to be aware of is lack of parking on site. We spent about 1 hour circling the city looking for parking; we found a parking but at the end were charged 90 euro for the less than 24 hours. Be aware, but this is not a reflection on the property. We would recommend it to family and friends, and would come back ourselves. Thank you!

The room was clean, it is a lovely property. Small but you know its a bed and breakfast when you walk up. Great location to the town and to beaches. The staff was lovely and so accommodating.
