This hotel needs updating very badly.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
I was suprised at how run down this hotel was. I almost checked out immediately after getting into my room. If It wasn't so late at night, and the weather wasn't so bad, I would have. There was a musty smell and it really did not feel very clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. I have stayed at many hotels all over the world, and in my opinion, this one was the worst as far as the quality/cleanliness of the room. The staff was ok. No complaints except for the fact that the front desk was left without a clerk for quite some time. The staff was very friendly though. The location was the best part of the hotel stay. It was right in town and close to everything.

Our stay

We stayed here during graduation time in Jacksonville. When we checked in and got to our room our air conditioner wasn't working. When we called the front desk the lady was in our room in 2 minutes. When she couldn't fix the problem she upgraded us, for free, to a suite. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great time visiting.
