CRC 3201 - Retro Condo with Ocean View

PLEASE BE ADVISED THE COLONY REEF CLUB PROPERTY WILL BE UNDER CONSTRUCTION FROM OCT 2025 – MAY 2026. BEFORE BOOKING, PLEASE MESSAGE OR CALL THE OFFICE FOR MORE DETAILS. ALL AMENITIES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE RACQUETBALL COURT WILL BE OPEN DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.

As soon as you step inside the condo you'll enjoy an amazing ocean view from this second floor unit and enjoying the view from the oversized corner balcony is such a delight! The balcony is accessible from the living room as well as the primary bedroom. This condo has a vintage beach vacation feel with light peach walls yet with modern touches such as new waterproof flooring and new charcoal grey couches. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a full size washer and dryer and a drip coffee pot. There is a king sized bed in the primary bedroom and the private en suite bath has a jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has two twin beds as does the third bedroom, also known as the “Crow’s Nest". The second bathroom has a walk in shower. As this is a Silver rated condo some of the appliances and dĂ©cor have not be updated recently.

All of the condos are equipped with private Wi-Fi and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom. We provide initial toilet paper, trash bags, bath soap, and dishwasher pods. Guests are advised to bring supplementary items if needed.

Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool, children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a heated pool, sauna, racquetball court, and fitness center.

The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from buildings 1 and 2 and a three-minute walk from building 3. The beaches are accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access.

Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the town's many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley to see it all on the go! You can purchase DISCOUNTED tickets to the Old Town Trolley and many of Saint Augustine’s attractions right in the main office at the property!

Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun!

We were really pleased with the whole experience. The view was amazing, the condo was very comfortable and nicely renovated. Loved the easy access to the beach, and the indoor pool for cold weather ( we stayed in January) Definitely high on the list of places we’d come back to. Great management as well.

Family Vacation

Great location of condo and easy walk to the beach. This condo was perfect size for our family (4-6 of us) We really liked that it had 3 bedrooms and cold AC. Very basic stocking of bathrooms. (No blow dryer) Kitchen was stocked w glassware/dishes. You will need to provide any cleaning supplies (only dishwasher powder was provided) The washer/dryer was in the kitchen and a little noisy. Helpful suggestions- it would have been great to had a few blankets, crock-pot, 9x13 dish, and a baking sheet.

Place needs some serious TLC

Great location and the Colony Reef Club complex was excellent. But this unit is in dire need of some elbow grease, in housekeeping particularly. First of all, while this property technically has "3 bedrooms", it should be noted this 3rd bedroom is essentially two futons in a 9 x 9 room with a very small closet and no amenities. While the kitchen had been updated, it was lacking in an adequate number of utensils and silverware. What was there really needed to be cleaned, as in I don't care to eat what the previous renters cooked there. After a bug was stirred up in the drawer, I ended up washing all the silverware there, along with a pizza pan (with pizza crust) and several pans and skillets which I assume at some earlier time had probably been non-stick (who seriously buys Teflon cookware for this kind of use?). I realize that the summer season is very pressing for housekeeping on these properties, but it looked as though even routine cleaning such as dusting and sweeping were lacking. Again I want to state this does not reflect on the complex as a whole, I would definitely recommend it. But you can do better than to rent this unit.

The property was very nice but the sliding glass doors didn't lock and there wasn't even 1 hair dryer there to use. With 4 women staying there, that was an expectation. Every VRBO rental that I ever stayed at had a hair dryer available. Those were the only 2 negatives points. Other than that it was wonderful!

Nice visit. Upkeep disappointing

I should note, we are condo owners not far from this location, however, our property was already rented and other family members had rented here so we went ahead and rented near them. Upon arrival to the condo, check in was easy. We entered our condo to find dead roaches on the main hall way by the main bedroom and in the guest bathroom. There was dirt and dust on top of the refrigerator. My son (2 years old) was laying on the couch, went to push himself up, and his hand slipped between the cushions and he pulled out a big handful of dirt and hair! I pulled out numerous pieces of silverware that had food stuck to them. There was one trash bag in the can and I went to take it out and it tore with just a little pull and trash went everywhere. Maybe I am a little bias because I am such a neat freak with our family condo but these things were disgusting. I emailed the facility and was basically told, " sorry, we haven't had time to deep clean due to continued occupancy" which is nonsense. I will say the view and the grounds are beautiful. Great location. The play set had some concerning rust where kids climb on it but nothing too bad. The weekend was great but the condo has some room for improvement. I wouldn't rent it again

Not a kid friendly place to stay

Although we had a good trip the condo and property in general wasn't kid friendly. There is no ramp for beach access, so taking our twins to the beach was nearly impossible because we couldn't get the stroller or wagon up the 2 sets of stairs leading to the only beach access on the property. This alone was a a deal breaker. The property NEEDS a handicapped ramp! The condo is dated as described in the description but it needs some work. The door leading from the bathroom into the guest bedroom is broken and won't open and close properly. The windows in the 3rd room actually had aluminum foil covering them which was hideous. The windows to the outside balcony desperately need to be cleaned, you can't even see out of them. Although the condo wasn't the best, we enjoyed our stay but won't rent here again solely based on there being no ramps for you to get your small kids and beach things to the beach without using stairs.

Outside Delight, Indoor Catastrophe

Upon booking we were filled with excitement. Its a ideal and perfect location for gorgeous beaches and sights. No real complaints regarding that. However lets start with the facility itself. Outdated and aging showing in many regard, pools were nice but also dated with chipping and unsafe areas, outdoor tables and chairs were the very worst ive experienced. Water was SO cold (NOT HEATED). Insane and super strict rules and regulations upon arrival. Unfriendly permanent residents who I guess are not fans of outside renters. The condo itself is in utter despair. Despite being refunded our cleaning fee after reporting the absolute flithe that resided within we did not receive much help from the office. We had a 8, 4, and 1 year old with us. This condo is not kid friendly at all. Nothing within the condo really is for kids. No toys, for pool or sand, beach chairs anything accommodating really. No cleaning supplies are supplied either which was a real pain in the butt when we arrived, unpacked and realized our children's feet were black and our baby who still crawls mind you, legs, hands and everything were black and disgusting. We took pictures of everything and the condition the condo was left in for us. The blinds were broken and would not close, mold in the bathrooms, and the couch smelled God awful. We have stayed at condos all over the state of FL and I would not return to this one despite managements assurance that we booked the "bottom of the barrel" type condo and they have others that are much better. The facility itself I don't believe was enough for a return either. Overall we paid a great deal for this condo and it is NOT worth it at all. There are much better condos with the same beach access if not better that are cleaner and have updated common areas. This is my complete and honest feedback. No intentions to bash the condo business or area. St. Augustine was some of the most beautiful beaches we have seen we simply do not believe besides that and the sight of the Ocean from the Condo was the place worth nearly a fraction of what we paid. Just right!

Check in was easy. Unit was clean, neat and had everything you needed. A storm hit just as we arrived and had knocked out power. We had a small issue with the WiFi and television in the living room. I made a call and within minutes someone was there to resolve it. It’s an older unit and could use some updates, but other than it’s perfect (I go for the beach) The view is amazing. We will definitely be back!
