Welcome to Casa del Lago where the past and present meld perfectly. Experience the comforts of this stunning 3/2 lakeside retreat set among million-dollar properties on the shore of Maria Sanchez Lake, in Historic Lincolnville. Less than a fifteen-minute walk to restaurants, sites and attractions in Historic St. Augustine.

Luxury, charm and tranquility define this beautifully and completely renovated cottage featuring all hi-end modern amenities. The oak flooring and architectural details are original to the cottage. Wonderful large windows with amazing lake views allow an abundance of natural light throughout.

Start your day by sitting out on the deck and watching the sunrise over Maria Sanchez Lake with your coffee. Or relax in the evening with a cool drink by the firepit. Be mesmerized as the lake sparkles and the sun sets.

Inspire your inner chef by whipping up a culinary delight in this brand-new fully equipped gourmet kitchen, featuring German cabinetry, quartz counters and backsplash, a Miele gas range and convection oven, Miele microwave/convection and Liebherr refrigerator.

The charming living room with a gas fireplace and wall mounted Samsung Smart TV, opens to a spacious formal dining room.

Luxury awaits in the primary bedroom with a sitting area looking out onto the lake and a stunning ensuite featuring a 3-body spray shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom. All bedrooms have brand new king beds and Samsung Smart TV’s (the guest bedroom has two twins that are pushed together to form a king and can be separated upon request). All are conveniently located on the main level.

In the mood for a backyard barbecue? There is a gas grill on the back porch, a dining table and chairs. With the lake as a backdrop, life just doesn't get any better.

Additional amenities include: a front load washer/dryer, luxury linens, kitchen essentials, bath essentials such as hair dryer, shampoo and body wash.

Please note, there is a small apartment on the second level occupied by a long-term tenant. It has a separate exterior entrance. The only shared space is the driveway in which the tenant has one parking space. There are five parking spaces in total. The home, the patio all outdoor amenities are solely for our vacation rental guest’s use.

Our properties are professionally managed; therefore, guests shall sign our renter agreement before arrival. We use property management software; therefore, post booking communication shall be through our property management platform and outside of your booking platform.

The lake cottage was was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was small, but updated and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were all very comfortable. Our family spent most of our time in the beautiful backyard! We ate our breakfast at the outside table, while watching the many different types of birds and we enjoyed the firepit in the evening. The outdoor area was lovely relaxing and comfortable after spending the day touring St Augustine. Our family enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cottage!!!

Splendor on the Lake was beyond our expectations! The photos don't do it justice. The kitchen and attention to detail were amazing! It was immaculate and very walkable to the historic district. It rained much of the time we were there, but we were still able to sit on the porch and enjoy the lake views. Three of us stayed at there and agreed that this is the nicest VRBO we have ever rented. We would highly recommend this home to anyone. Parking was more than adequate for 3 cars.

We had the best time! The neighborhood is amazing and so close to downtown. Loved being able to walk everywhere. The property manager was so accommodating and let us check in early last minute. There is a long term tenant that stays upstairs (still a separate unit). She was so nice and very quiet. Plenty of parking. The backyard area was amazing. Loved having our coffee while watching the sun rise over the little lake! Would definitely stay there again!

This home was exactly as seen in the photographs. After a full day of sightseeing in town, it was so peaceful to relax on the porch in the evenings with a cool drink and watch nature at its best. Perfect Location

From the moment we stepped into the cottage we knew we had found the perfect place for our mini vacay. From the beautifully appointed kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, to the welcoming and peaceful backyard overlooking the lake, what was not to love? Historic downtown close by and a walkway along the water was several of the perks. We enjoyed our last night relaxing by the fire in the firepit in MY favorite outdoor chair, the Adirondack. This home should be considered on your visit to St Augustine. We would love to return on a future visit!

The PERFECT spot for your getaway to St Augustine!

This property had it ALL
The backyard was our favorite. Covered porch with 2 chairs, trellis covered eating area, lit glass fence (so cool) and fire-pit with a starter pack of firewood all overlooking a beautiful, quiet lake. All of the rooms had king size beds which is hard to find in a rental when you are traveling with your friends. We stayed in the lakeside room which had the best shower with wall jets
I’m already getting ideas to remodel my own bathroom
lol. The owner was super fast to reply if you had any questions. One suggestion I would make is to know this house is in a beautiful neighborhood with full time residents so remember to be respectful.
