Everything was perfect, and I had a room with kitchenette. 2 minutes walking from the beach, a few good restaurants and a huge Publix. The only negative thing is that the big garbage bin was in front of my window. Not a very pleasant view.

Location for the price was good. I had a partial view the ocean from my room. Step out on the walkway and had an even better view. Literally a short stroll to get to the beach. Publix is half a block away. 10 to 15 minutes drive to St. Augustine. It's clean. Still smells a little when I entered the room. Nothing my favorite air freshener couldn't handle. Comfy bed and kitchenette came in handy too.

Do not recommend.
Budget hotel near the beach. Pretty basic which is not an issue, but rooms were not cleaned even though we were gone all day. Front desk said she “forgot.” We finally got new towels but beds weren’t made, room wasn’t swept and bathroom wasn’t cleaned. No hooks or towel bars to hang clothes or towels. Tub stained. Supposedly two bedrooms but really an alcove with a thin curtain. Thin bedsheets that kept coming off the mattress. Stuffy inside even with air con. Curtains but no shades on windows and no safety lock. Do not recommend.

The motel was pretty basic. The wall AC did not work, so we had a very noisy wall unit, which was right next to my side of the bed. The linens were nice and the room was clean.

I liked the close proximity to the beach and the retro feel of the property, but the room we had needed some updating. The bedding and pillows were old and not comfortable. For one night, this was ok but there are nicer choices in the area.
