The beach view was amazing. Waking up to the sounds of the waves was so refreshing. The room was really spacious and modern. The inconveniences of either restaurants being closed on a Friday or Saturday sucked tremendously. All in all it was truly an amazing experience.

I would like to request a full refund my stay was horrrendous. My room was dirty and was not cleaned properly. As I got in the room and my fiance went to use the bathroom there was hair all over the toilet seat inside the toilet boil there was pee on the seat and underneath seat. As we went to sleep the sheet had hair and Noise boogers all over the bed. The floor in the room stayed wet all the time as we couldnt turn off the AC. My fiance is pregnant and nearly slipped multiple times.

Striking view of the Caribbean Sea. Staff is very diligent, polite and knowledgeable. House keeping services are timely and excellent. Room service is quite efficient.The resort's grounds are carefully manicured and cared for. There was live entertainment in a courtyard area every night of my stay. Dining area for buffet meals were monitored and cleaned by staff every minute. Buffet options for breakfast,lunch and dinner were good . Additional pool towels were readliy available. The gift shop on the compound is great for some OTC medication,sunscreen along with souvenir items. The Cafe serves a healtht variety of ice cream, pastries, tea, coffee and bagels. The additional restaurants give a welcomed change of scenery from the general buffet dining area. My only take away would be the velocity of the ceiling fans in the courtyard/lounge area, Nibbles Cafe(near diamond club), bars and buffet dining area. If they spun faster it would better combat the heat associated with the Caribbean. Generally my stay here was excellent 10/10 would recommend.

The rooms are filth. From the robes in the closet to the pillow. They do not thoroughly clean the room after someone checks out and they don’t change the sheets as often they claim to do. I am officially done with the Royalton Resorts. Most of the staff were really pleasant and attentive but there were some rude young ladies there too.

Room were great, as was all of the staff. We were in the Diamond Club area and having a "butler" (Ted and Noley) was amazing. My main complaint was with the food. While the buffet breakfast and beachside snack bar were pretty good, the rest of the food was mediocre at best. At times, not good at all, and very inconsistent. The music in the courtyard and bar area of the main lobby was terribly loud, making conversation practically impossible.

View from the room was amazing. Room itself was clean and comfortable. However, by the 2nd day, the shower had a bad smell. I believe it was the drain pipe from the shower is where it was coming from. Walking to and from the buffet as well, we had to encounter an unpleasant smell by the bird watch area. This was not nice to smell right after u eat. And then the stairs. We were placed in building 13. And had to climb 96 stairs everytime we needed to get to our room. By the 3rd day i was pretty turned off by this. Staff was amazing. Always pleasant and willing to assist. Beach was perfect if you go like behind the roof top pool. Other areas were rocky. Food was a hit and miss at the buffet. Most of the times the chicken was done very hard and stiff. I couldn't eat it in most days. Was very hard to bite or chew. Fish was always amazing. Mist times a lot of the food labels were missing. Twice in 5 days the chef had to come out and tell us what the dishes were (we dont eat beef) so had to make sure there. Overall, staff, beach and view amazing. Stairs, smell and food not so amazing. There was a staff member who went out and beyond. Shadel i believe was her name. She we were hanging by the pool and didnt want to leave to go all the way up to the room to change and go to tge buffet. I asked if i could have ordered food to come to the pool. I was told only if i am DC and had a butler ( which i didnt) but nevertheless , she went and got us something to eat. I appreciated that.

The best part of this resort was the access to the Beach and how clean it was. Staff were really nice and the rooms were clean. However, the food wasn't it. We were only there for 3 nights and 4 days, however after eating at the buffet once for breakfast, lunch and dinner (We really tried), we never went back. We tried making reservations for the restaurants on the property but they were all booked. We ended up using their local food app to order in food. Or we went out to restaurants in the area, which were really good. Bars were stocked and the drinks were great. But staff do not venture out to the beach, if you want something you have to go to the bars beside the pool. In terms of the location, since we were visiting a student that was attending St.George University it was quite close, it was also a 5 min drive to the Airport. Overall, the resort itself was also really quite, its def not a partying resort, but if you want to relax and not be with all the noise, then this is good spot.

My check in time was at 3pm and when I arrived at 5:30pm my room still wasn’t ready. I had to wait another 2.5hrs. That was very inconvenient. I requested an iron multiple times as there wasn’t any in the room and I never received it. The phone in the room wasn’t working the 1st night, so I had to order room service from my daughter’s room and because they couldn’t call me on the phone that I told them wasn’t working, they never brought the food to the room. One morning at breakfast no one ever came to take our drink order. I walked and asked one of the servers and still had to ask again a 2nd time because we finished eating and no one ever came. I requested both rooms to be decorated as I was celebrating my 4th anniversary and my daughter graduating high school, but it was never done. The overall experience was disappointing.

The grounds of this resort are beautiful. Staff aren’t the friendliest and seemed as if there weren’t enough staff to go around that property so some activities weren’t available throughout the week. Shuttle transportation is extremely limited and if you have a disability or can’t walk far or up and downstairs this isn’t the resort for you. Grenada is beautiful however, the Royalton needs work. And please let me not start talking about the food! Horrible!!! Go off resort like we did for some amazing tasting good food. The resort food is horrible even down to breakfast. Island food was so amazing but you have to go off resort for the good stuff.
