Perfect vacation spot for you and your family on full recreation Big St. Germain Lake. Sit back and soak up the beautiful southern exposure and pristine lake views from this beautiful property. The main level offers an open layout, laundry room, and large master bedroom with king size bed and full private bathroom. Oversized loft is perfect for kids and includes 2 queen beds, 1 double bed, and a full bathroom. Lower level features a rec room with pool table, love seat, pull-out sofa, & futon as well as two bedrooms and full bathroom. New (2022) Weber gas grill will make for some delicious family feasts. Large, flat yard allows you to bring any yard game you can imagine. Top it off with the perfect shallow, sandy frontage, and lakeside fire pit. Renting or bringing a boat? New dock added in 2022 and the boat landing is only 0.2 miles away!

***3 brand new kayaks including paddles and life vests added for 2023!

For snowmobilers, there is a lower level mud room with a separate entrance providing a convenient place for changing and storing all your gear. The Bo-Boen trail is just a few hundred feet away!

Our stay in St. Germain was amazing! The cabin was beautiful and spacious. We have a pontoon boat and it was cool to jump right on when we wanted to go fishing or boating!

July Family Vacation

The grounds were nice with plenty of room for our vehicles. The house needed vacuuming, which we did ourselves. There were dog hairs everywhere including on top of the pool table. Bathroom shower curtains and mats require replacement, all of them were dirty and gave off a musty odor.

Summer Family Vacation

This property is a great place for a family vacation on a lake in the Northwoods. It has a very nice waterfront and great pier. We especially liked paddling up and down Lost Creek, which is just a short distance to the west.

In Memory of Mom

We planned this trip over a year ago as a way to honor the memory of my mother, who stayed at this cabin with us back in 2021. She absolutely loved it here. Not long after that trip, she was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), and she passed away on May 26, 2024. One of her final wishes was to have some of her ashes spread in the lake at this beautiful property we last visited together.During our stay, we spent peaceful evenings by the fire watching breathtaking sunsets over the lake—just as we had with her. We played pool in the basement, laughed over countless card games, and shared stories and memories. The cabin itself is very well laid out, easily accommodating our group of nine adults with comfort and space.This place holds deep meaning for us now, and we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return and make new memories while honoring the old ones. We’ll definitely be back next year.Thank you, Jeff, for sharing this special place with us.

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay; house was very accommodating and was as listed. Only minor complaint was there were not enough wash clothes for all the guests, however we found them later in sitting in the washing machine. We would return and use this place again, if we are lucky enough to visit St. Germain again.

Excellent location and communication

We loved our stay at Grandview. Listing was as described with plenty of space for our extended family to spread out and enjoy the house. Jeffrey was exceptionally responsive leading up to the trip and throughout. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and unwind. Amenities are very close by as well. The kayaks provided were a great bonus and we used them daily.

Property had plenty of room and was great to have four bathrooms. Cleanliness had room for improvement. Lots of cobwebs and was apparent that a full cleaning didn’t happen before our arrival. We arrived at check-in time and cleaning staff was still there. Have stayed at several rentals in area and have had better communication with property manager. Besides that, the kitchen was nicely stocked and was nice to have firewood available and kayaks to use.

Great family vacation spot!

Our family of 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 3 dogs had a wonderful weeklong stay at Grandview Getaway! The house was clean, host was responsive, and the property was great. We went swimming, fishing (we brought boats), kayaking, and did plenty of relaxing. The property offered everything we needed. It’s also a short 20 minute drive to Minocqua. I would recommend this rental and we would stay here again. We stayed August 2024. Our favorites: - Quiet area with not direct road traffic - Boat launch was .2 miles away - Great yard and fire pit area with firewood provided - On one of our cooler days, we drove to Wildwood Wildlife Park. Highly recommend for kiddos! - Mudroom in the basement- great for dogs and wet kids! - Full bathroom on every floor - Hose onsite (for dog baths) - We never saw one mosquito while there A few notes for future guests: -The stairs are extra wide, which is great aesthetically, but not great for standard baby gates if you have small children. - A few people in our party got swimmers’ itch from the water. We read a review afterwards that someone had a similar experience. Just be cautious when the water is calm and if there is any algae. This did not impact the review of the property, just wanted to let others know. - If staying in the basement bedrooms, they can get a little chilly. Portable heaters were provided, which was great, but if you get cold easily, pack warmer pajamas.

Colorado Family July 4th trip

Truly enjoyed the stay at this vacation house! It was extremely comfortable, and as we only had 5 adults (me, my 2 sons and their girlfriends) all of us were able to have our own bedroom/bathroom! It was very clean, had adequate dishes/pans, and a lot of storage room in cupboards for our week of food. The extra fridge in garage was SO nice to have, to keep all drinks out there instead of taking up space in the kitchen one. The mudroom came in very handy for putting our paddleboards up at night and fishing equipment, plus our dogs were able to be put in there when we were all away from the house. Kids enjoyed evening pool table games, and the front deck was amazing for enjoying morning coffee, and late afternoon/evening cocktails, or just taking in the view of the lake. We had rented 2 jet skis and a pontoon, and there was no problem getting all to tie up nicely at pier. We truly enjoyed the time, wished for a few more sunny days than we had, but we still were able to use the firepit on non-rainy nights! Definitely will consider using this place should we visit again, as owner was very easy to work with, and answered all questions and concerns prior to, during and after our stay!

Beautiful lake house

Our family of 9 really enjoyed staying at Grandview Getaway. The house was spacious and clean, the view of the lake was beautiful. We saw deer and eagles every day. We spent time fishing and kayaking. The location was ideal for visiting shops and restaurants in Eagle River and Minocqua too. Our communication with Jeffrey was easy, and we had no issues during our weeklong visit. We would highly recommend this place if you enjoy coming “up north.”

I was a bit surprised by the number of cottages close to us, but it did not present a problem. Sleeping arrangements were ideal and a bathroom at each level—-fantastic! Although we did not use them, a grill and kayaks were nice amenities.
