Beautiful view in a great location - lovely property and was great to have a pool.Unfortunately the cleanliness in general was disappointing and there was also an unpleasant odour inside the house. Although the beds were made up we discovered many of the beds had used sheets that had not been changed from previous stay. Winnie was very responsive and we were provided with new sheets for us to make up the beds.
Grandma , a sixties couple and our fur child loved it!
We are a multi generational family who spent three nights at the Shack in late Jun 2025. The home and property are very large. Comfortably sleeping ten people we three used only the front portion of the house. Warm and comfortable sums it up . But the view is spectacular, fully fenced yard for fur baby safety and lots of space if you have kids to entertain. Two seperate living areas for families to enjoy . The pool would be great in summer but as it is not heated it is not set up for winter use. The kitchen is well set out with a servery bench adjacent to a dining table that seats six people. Both bathrooms are in the front of the home so some juggling would be necessary for a large group . The pantry is huge and tea, coffee, milk etc provided. There is also a good supply of spices and some olive oil. We used the local Providor and IGA for the bulk of our purchases. Remember this is a Shack not a luxury home but it is well on the way to being the latter, just a bit of TLC required to achieve this .
