DESCRIPTION: Ciboney is a charming 2 bedroom 2 bath waterfront home with a private pool. This beautiful home has never been rented and this exclusive opportunity is now available to you, our guests. Come enjoy the serenity and tropical garden setting at Johnson Bay Estates.

To maximize the views, the living level is on the upper level and has a wrap-around deck along the front of the villa. Upon your arrival, you walk into the lushly landscaped garden courtyard. When you enter through the front door, you will be immediately welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere, the colorful retro furnishings, and the majestic views looking out towards the ever changing blues in the turquoise seas.

The great room consists of the kitchen, living, and dining areas, which are surrounded by screened sliding glass doors, all looking out towards the stunning views. Unlike a lot of homes on St John, both bedrooms are interior access, and the bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the great room, ensuring maximum privacy. This layout works perfectly for families traveling with children, as well as couples traveling together. Each bedroom includes an en-suite bath with an outside garden shower.

Located off the great room, is your wrap-around deck. You will enjoy dining on your sun deck, all while enjoying a delicious meal. To the right is your private pool and to the left is additional deck space with outdoor seating, a perfect spot to relax in the sun or curl up and read your favorite novel.

The amenities do not stop there as there is a staircase down to the beach level. Underneath the main living area is an additional outside living area, which includes additional seating as well as a pool table. This is a wonderful spot to create those everlasting memories of time spent together.

LOCATION: Ciboney is located in Johnson Bay Estates, which is a quiet area carved out of the western shore of Coral Bay, on the southeast end of St. John. In front of your villa, there is a small, reef protected sand/pebble/seagrass beach. The very picturesque view stretches from the village of Coral Bay at the head of the harbor in the northwest, to the mouth of Coral Bay in the east (Coral Bay refers to a small village, a body of water and also the large land area surrounding the bay.) Although Ciboney faces east the pool and sun deck are bathed in sunshine for most of the day, and the trade winds are partially blocked so they usually blow mild yet refreshingly cool perfect weather for enjoying the pool and deck. There are only four villas along the beach at Johnson Bay, so this setting remains tranquil, restful and romantic. Its a 25-30 minute drive into Cruz Bay, and a 4-10 minute drive to the restaurants, bars, and groceries in Coral Bay, and a 15-20 minute drive to the National Park beaches located along the north shore.

LIVING AND DINING: The spacious interior living area includes plenty of seating, from the living room with a couch and two chairs to the two additional chairs tucked into the corner by the dining table. No matter where you choose to relax, we are sure your everyday stress will wash away as you settle into your stay. Your living room includes broadband internet and a 55 inch flat screen TV for streaming your favorite shows.

The principal dining area is the interior table for 4. There are 4 bar stools at the kitchen bar, a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee as you plan your day. There is also an outside dining table for 2-4 people on your sun deck.

KITCHEN: The kitchen contains all the necessities for island dining, including a 4-burner gas cooktop stove and wall oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, cookware, etc. The house includes a gas grill, washer/dryer, beach chairs and beach towels, all bath towels and bed linens.

BEDROOMS: The two bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the great room and are accessed by interior hallways. Each bedroom is similar in size, and both have screened sliding glass doors that open on to the wrap-around deck. Each queen bedroom also enjoys beautiful ocean views, split a/c units, TVs for streaming, and en-suite baths with outdoor garden showers.

Amazing stay on St John at an amazing house

We spent 17 days on St. John in this house and it was truly incredible. The house and location are very nice. We were very glad we stayed in Coral Bay. It's very close to lots of good restaurants and three supermarkets which was good because I had to often visit two or three of them to get all that we wanted. The beach was great for shelling and we loved the pool. The pool table underneath was our nightly entertainment and we loved having that. The local fauna was out in force and we got to see lots of iguanas, geckos, chickens, donkeys, deer, and other animals right from our balcony. We absolutely would stay at this house again.

My husband and I recently stayed at “Ciboney” in Coral Bay and fell in love with this house! It was very thoroughly decorated and had everything we could have wanted not to mention the view!The people at Caribbean Villas were so helpful to us upon planning our trip.The house was full of beautiful artwork and everything was fresh and very clean.
