We loved the Alt... the rooms are small but so cleverly laid out they are very functional. The Nespresso machine makes a great coffee, love the control panel that lets you control lights and blinds from bed... everything is really well thought out.

My only disappointment was the size of the room and bathroom. Very small and very little storage space for clothing. View was excellent. Also no bar fridge for water and cocktails,

Hotel was very clean and very modern. Beautiful view of Signal Hill from the back area while I had my morning coffee. My favourite part of the room was the shower as it was almost like a waterfall! The staff were amazing and helpful and I will be staying here on all future trips to St. Johns

I was not expecting that the the restaurant would be closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesday breakfast - ie all the time that we were there. The cafe was a very poor substitute for breakfast. The hotel was very convenient for the cruise ship dock, and a reasonable price. My biggest concern, and I would be grateful if Expedia would assist in this, was that the hotel staff put a 'hold' on my debit card of CA$250. I put no charges against the room, and when I left, they said they had released the 'hold'. However, when I got home, I found they had accidentally actually deducted CA$250 from my account. My emailing asking for this to be rectified has not even been acknowledged.
