We had a fantastic stay at the Verdi St George's Bay. Booked a large family room with Balcony and had great views over the bay. Room was spotlessly clean, with the essential kettle and plentiful supply of teabags and coffee. Breakfast was excellent, and we had access to the indoor facilities (pool & gym) at the sister hotel (Corinthian) next door. We were visiting in January so it was a touch fresh to be using the selection of outdoor pools. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

Firstly the staff were a joy! Maureen and Marco specifically made me feel very welcome and safe as a solo traveller. The food options are superb and fairly priced. Spa facilities are excellent and the treatments to die for!!!! The staff in the spa were so polite and friendly. I was made to feel like a VIP. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks to everyone for making my stay so incredibly special xxx

The hotel is very outdated, it is max 3 stars. Rooms are old, broken tiles, stains in the room and all over the hotel carpets. Cleaners do not collect dirty cups left in the lobby by hotel guests for days. Average customer service - I was supposed to get a free bottle of wine, which never came. Breakfast is not fresh and below average, eggs are like plastic. The only good thing about the hotel is the location and nice sea view of you get the room with the sea view.
