The Dover Beach Hotel Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The hotel, pool and restaurant were clean and well cared for. The area is safe and so easy to walk to shops & restaurants. Nice hotel for families.

The hotel itself is nice. The staff were nice and friendly. I would say it was quiet except for the construction that was going on next to the hotel. Lots of restaurants to walk to, beaches to walk to. Our room and hotel were clean. The only thing I would complain about is our cups, spoons and coffee mugs were not cleaned/new ones the whole week we were there.

Very wonderful, amazing and helpful staff. Unfortunately I must warn that some of the rooms are in a building outside the main hall. The wifi doesnt really work in that building, and the hallway is opened all day and connected to the main road. In my opinion that is not safe. The food options around the hotel are very overpriced and honestly not great. Hotel food is very expensive - so much so I didnt try it. Rooms did not come with bottled water. I found the rooms looked a little dirty and the paint and so on is certainly outdated. But again the staff is good and they have a solid gym. The problems at the hotel are not due to the staff.

The property created a pleasant atmosphere. It’s not luxurious but it’s not meant to be. The staff was friendly and eager to assist. We enjoyed our stay. There was a taxi stand at the end of the street that was very convenient.

The location of the property was excellent and the staff were friendly. Room facilities good and nice Pool temperature. The beach needs clearing of seaweed and was a bit rough for swimming. There was also some building works next door but not too much disturbance. Happy Hour at the Bar was Midday and 5 pm. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Great property in a good location! Walkable to the Gap with lots of dining and shopping options but away from the noise. The hotel is small and very simple, but had an on site restaurant and beautiful ocean front terrace to eat on. Kathy was amazing and made our dining and stay so enjoyable every day! Easy, direct access to a beautiful beach as well as two pools to enjoy. Only small cons I would say is that there is currently construction going on that was noisy during the day and right outside our balcony and the sheets were very uncomfortable and scratchy.
