Quiet location not far from the interstate. Check-in was welcoming and friendly. Late nite staff not so much. TV would only come on by pushing button on bottom right corner on the set. Attempt at front desk to resolve problem interrupted clerk's dinner and only attempt to assist me was to hand me another remote. That did not resolve problem. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Lots of updating needed - paint, wall repairs, trash in parking lot. Overall, I had a great nite's sleep after 9 hours of driving.

My initial room had wet carpet and food crumbs. We were able to switch rooms. The next room had paint on the shower floor but it wasn't bad.

After driving for 12 hours, it was so nice to check in, take a shower and fall into the most comfortable bed. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were excellent!

The lobby, pool and front desk was beautiful, but once you get to the elevator, the walls need repair and were ratty looking. The elevator has graffiti(not bad stuff, just peoples names). My room was large with a cozy clean bed, but the carpet was disgusting and gross...obviously animals are allowed here. Bathroom walls were missing chunks of drywall by shower and door was all scratched up as if a dog tried to get out. I'm surprised management doesn't address all the repairs or at least clean the carpets. I'm sure they see it too! Even though maintenance was needed, the cleaning ladies do a good job with what they have to work with and I appreciated the padlocks on doors and the breakfast was great! Front desk lady was super sweet too! For what they charge, it should be updated.

Some basic maintenence is in order

We stay here often and despite some wear and tear on main floor and in breakfast bar equipment it is fine. This trip however, the toilet stopped functioning properly, there were plates, only bowls, at breakfast, the coffee machine has been half out of order for about a year, and only functioning ice machine was on 3rd floor. So I'd say some basic maintenence is in order. Room was very clean, quiet and bed okay, decent shower and amenities, but other issues overshadowed the good.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was quiet. The breakfast was not too appetizing but that was not a big deal. Instead of the eggs they served, I feel like they could offer scrambled eggs instead. The sausage and biscuits were delicious but the sausage gravy was not good, but I could be biased because I am from the south. The pool was very nice. All in all it was a great hotel and I will definitely stay here again.
