My partner and I took a small vacation to visit the area in St. Louis, I decided to spend a little more than I usually do when it comes to hotels. But that being said, it was still reasonably priced for what was offered. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and loved what was offered in the bathroom, Dove branded soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion! That was a first for us, but then again we usually stay in cheap motels that offer the cheapest soap available. The bed was very comfy. My only small complaint was the fridge. It was small, but it still worked for us. Not a huge problem, but just thought that I'd mention it. Overall we loved our stay and we will more than likely come back and book with the same hotel if we're ever in the area again. Not sure when, but we will stay here again when we do.

Four pleasant nights in St. Louis

we were in the St. Louis area for a wedding but stayed a few extra days so we could see old friends. The hotel is in a convenient, suburban area near restaurants, shopping, and a movie theater. A thoroughly safe area but not very walkable. The hotel is modern, well decorated, clean with two restaurants and a bar inside. Checkin was fine. The room was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated with nice sheets and towels and all the amenities you expect. We have stayed here before and will again.

We stayed at the hotel for the intention to get away for a night, specifically requesting late check out. Hotel was fine, clean, etc. However, someone decided to fire up what sounded like a power washer at 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning right outside our window. After about 40 minutes i called the front desk, and it stopped within a couple minutes. On check out, i asked what it was and the front desk was unaware we had even called. While we don't expect special treatment, the least the hotel could do was to insure disruptions like this occur later in the day, or offer something as a minor compensation. It seemed like the desk clerk could care less that this occurred. No less that it was the time change weekend. In today's climate, customer service and loyalty should not be taken for granted. At least we were not in the area of the hotel, where all the sports kids were running the halls.
