The holiday apartment in Qawra is located close to Buġibba and Salina, a popular tourist resort with many bars, party places and restaurants. The town is home to many water-sport activities, including banana boat, speed boat and jetski rides, as well as kayaking, snorkelling and diving. The area is also well known as the \"touristy\" area of Malta due to the many bars which show British football. Plus, you can reach the National Aquarium in 10 minutes by walk. Also within walking distance is dazzling Bugibba Beach (10 minutes), perfect for soaking up the sun and swimming in crystal-clear waters. For history enthusiasts, the imposing Bugibba Battery, a 15-minute walk away, offers a glimpse into Malta\'s military past. To explore further afield, a short drive of around 20 minutes will take you to the ancient Megalithic Temples of Malta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the historic city of Mdina.

Malta\'s typical Mediterranean climate is sunny with an average daily sunshine of five to six hours in mid-winter and 12 hours in summer, with over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather.
