The AC Clearwater is managed far below Marriott’s standards…Dog barking next door for an hour+ early Saturday morning (front desk did nothing), soap dispenser in shower empty, coffee pods not replenished by housekeeping (“we’ll send it up right away” took almost 2 hours)…”Valet Parking” on my Bill (I drove an uber.) I’m a Bonvoy fan, just not the AC Clearwater.

Room was clean and spacious, beds very comfortable, huge comfy pillows. There’s a nice long bench the length of the wall that greatly assists with managing suitcases; plenty of space for 3 people. It was nice to have Starbucks coffee and water available in the lobby at all times. Nice view from window. Excellent location across the street from the beach. Staff were friendly and very responsive to our requests. Blow dryer was broken, but was quickly replaced with a brand new one. Only downside was the heating/cooling system was a bit noisy at night, so bring earplugs if a light sleeper.

The room didn’t have enough storage places to put our cloths. The shower was awful and not enough places to hang towels especially since you need to reuse them. I was not made aware of the cost of valet so that was a surprise.the staff was ok at front desk but not particularly helpful. The hotel is dated. The staff at bar restaurant were great.

Room was not clean. Found several hairs on the shower wall and around the bathroom. Denied late checkout even through we are a Marriott member even though we ask for half hour. There is nothing close to this hotel too. Restaurants are several blocks away. Not worth the price they are charging. Will not stay here again.

The hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff was great, but the valet parking situation was a bit confusing as I was originally told it was valet parking only, then later told I could have parked my car myself for a lower daily fee. If the parking fees could be made clearer, this would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the AC Hotel after an awful experience at the motel (disguised as a hotel on their online listing) across the street and MAN was it a breath of fresh air! We checked in on a Sunday. The nice young man at reception was so kind and even upgraded us to a room with a view. I think his name as Elijah. The first day we were there, we noticed the TV remote didn’t work. We let them know at the reception on the way out and they had it replaced by the time we got back. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, the toiletries were Korres and smelled amazing! The shower water pressure was great and the views were refreshing. I rated this 4 stars because there were a few minor issues that I feel guilty even mentioning because we really did enjoy our stay and appreciated the hospitality. I’m hoping my review gets in the right hands to get these little hiccups handled. When we noticed the remote was not working, we tried to call the front desk from the phone in our room and it didn’t work. There was an extension listed on the phone for the front desk, but it just went to a busy signal. Later in the day, my husband ran up to the room to grab something while I stayed in the car with our sleeping toddler and I noticed that he left his phone in the car.
