Pros: the house is very large with space for a big family or lots of friends
It is close to the beach / activities.
The management company answers the phone and arrives on sight promptly and willing to help. They are pleasant to work with.
Cons: the house is not well maintained. When we arrived there was a lot of deferred maintenance (ACs, broken furniture - a bed had to be re built, a new toilet seat installed, shelves fell), poorly cleaned - there was trash from previous guests, dust bunnies / dirt all over the floor.)
The management company promptly sent a bunch of people to fix everything, but it disturbed our stay greatly for the entire first 24 hours).
The listing says the driveway fits 4 cars - maybe if they are smart cars - otherwise you have to parallel park and only 2 fit.
There are 0 supplies in the house. No soap/ broom etc. 1 towel per person, a couple of bars of soap, a bit of toilet paper and paper towel - so pack accordingly. Most rental properties we have visited have a bit more to work with during your stay.
Summary: it is a big house in a good location, but Iâm not sure I would recommend it.
My extended family of 7 and my friend's extended family of 6 stayed in this property for the Christmas Holiday. There is enough room for everybody. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, spices, cooking oil, paper towers and trash bags. The property is right across the street from the beach. The kids had a lot of fun and play on the beach all the time. The seniors walked on the beach whenever they like to as well. In general, a perfect venue for a family vacation if all you want to do is to relax and enjoy the sea breeze from the Gulf of Mexico.
