Our quaint resort grounds are meticulously taken care of and beautifully landscaped. You can swim in the large heated pool with plenty of seating and lounge chairs. Nice place
We enjoyed our stay, very well stocked. A little small but very cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The chair in the living room could use an update, kinda hard to get in and out of and a little unsturdy. Pool area was very nice, but the pool could have been vacuumed a bit, a lot of sand near the steps and on the bottom of the pool. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, people were very nice, the location is great, walking distance to may places. Thanks again!

Beautiful beach cottage
The perfect place for a beach getaway. Very clean cottage, perfect location, awesome pool, clean property, and much more! This is our 3rd time staying at gulf gardens and we love it! We will be back!

Former VRBO owners here....we kept everything immaculate, updated, and bent over backwards to make our guests stay wonderful. This owner met and exceeded our hopes and expectations....don't miss this treasure. Reasonably priced, and close to EVERYTHING. You won't regret it.

We loved staying at this quaint little cottage with everything we needed. Space was great for 2, loved the details of providing to-go cups for coffee (as well as K-cups!) and towels and beach stuff (cooler, chairs). It was a perfect location to be able to walk across the street to the beach and an even closer walk from the cottage to the pool. We were also happy to be able to walk to a few restaurants and bars close by. Would love to return to Madeira and would absolutely stay here again!

This cottage was perfect for us! It is quaint well equipped and close to the beach & restaurants. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee as we sat on the front porch and listened to the osprey! We will stay again!

I was disappointed
This little cottage is cute, but has some issues. I really don't understand all the rave reviews. There were no major problems with the property, just lots of little things that added up to an overall disappointing stay. Little things like... arriving on a 98 degree day to a 78 degree cottage that took hours to cool down. No hair dryer, I bought one myself and left it as a gift for the property. No place to wipe your feet before getting into bed, so the bed had sand in it the whole time. TV remotes weren't with the correct TV, and the bedroom TV required a passcode which wasn't provided. No instructions on how to lock the door when you leave. The living room furniture was dingy and stained, there were stains on the bedroom comforter. When I arrived, I asked the owners about how to work the TVs and they did respond. The thing is, the longer I was there the more little things kept popping up. I didn't want to spend my whole time there going back and forth with the owners figuring out how to remedy issues with the property. After my stay, I pointed this out to the owners and got an argumentative response. Overall it was a cute property, clean enough, and in a decent location. I'm not sure I'd stay there again though.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great location! 1/2 block to the beach and very close to anything in Madeira Beach, John's Pass, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, downtown St. Pete, etc. The pool was fantastic! The tropical grounds and gardens were very nice and well maintained. Parking right in front of the unit was a plus! They also had plenty of beach towels, chairs and other things one might need on a beach vacation. Will definitely stay here again!

Cutest cottage ever!
This is the perfect cottage for one person, two at most. Park directly in front of cottage! Beach across the street. Owner has stocked the cottage with literally everything you could need: Beach towels, beach equipment, dish liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, and the list goes one. And the beautiful pool is quite large with plenty of lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, and even a covered seating area for eating, playing cards, whatever. The outside areas are kept very clean and the landscaping is cared for with TLC. Be aware that the the cottages are set right on Gulf blvd. Some right on the street and others further back. At first I though this would be a problem as gulf blvd is very busy, but I can honestly say that I wasn’t that bothered. And the pool is set further back, so while you can still hear the traffic, I still felt completed relaxed. In fact, too relaxed! I didn’t want to leave! 😎
