We reserved the condo for 3 nights prior to a stay in St. John. Upon arrival, we received an email that the condo had been sold but that our stay would be unaffected, and to contact the new owners with any issues during our stay. As we had arrived a day late and at night, I was very nervous at that point (which is a massive understatement). Thankfully we were able to get in and all of the WiFi and door codes worked as promised. The condo was cute and very well stocked. Everything we needed for the beach, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of storage. The king bed was very comfortable, though my son was so-so on the sofa bed comfort level. But…it’s a sofa bed. Location right on sapphire beach can’t be beat with great amenities, and the condo was leas than a 5 minute drive from the red hook ferry. We had dinner at Sudi’s (walkable distance) both nights and the owner herself took care of us (highly recommended) with great food and fair prices. If I had any issue it’s that the front door to the condo is made of opaque glass, and at 6 am it is incredibly bright in there! The doors are standard in all the units, but a shade would be a nice addition. The new owner was very receptive when I reached out to her with a question, which I really appreciated as it was a unique situation with the sale of the condo apparently occurring midway through my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Lovely place on sapphire beach.

Excellent place to stay. Hosts are very responsive, will answer questions quickly. Property is exactly as described, pictures are exactly what you get. Very clean, quiet, gated community, beautifully landscaped, cool AC, large hot shower! Right on Sapphire Beach, 1 minute walk, 4 restaurants to the right of the property, 1-2 minutes walk, taxi directly behind the restaurants, water rentals right there as well. Food is great the restaurants. Would definitely stay there again and recommend!

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed everything about the place and would absolutely stay here again. They did only provide 1 roll of toilet paper, but the owners were so quick to bring us some that next morning. Some of the best communication I’ve had staying at a vrbo rental. I do suggest a mattress topper of some sort for the pull out couch, as the mattress is pretty uncomfortable. Other than that this place is perfect!

Perfect Stay

This unit made our incredible trip perfect! The owner’s communication was top tier and their arrival instructions were so clear it made our hectic arrival smooth. The property was clean and smelled so good and fresh when we walked in. The unit was well appointed with everything we needed and more. The beach accessories came in handy and saved us money on chair and umbrella rentals. There were even multiple pairs of goggles. The beach towels were a plus too. We will definitely recommend and will book here again as we visit the island multiple times per year.

Beautiful place to stay with communicative hosts who help solve issues in a timely manner

We were very excited to stay at this location and it ended up surpassing our expectations. The room itself was beautiful - well maintained and clean. It was perfect for 2 people. There were beach towels, beach chairs, and beach bags available for use which was extremely helpful so we didn't have to pack them ourselves. The location was amazing - steps away from a beautiful, non-crowded beach. There were several good restaurants and bar options within walking distance so you didn't have to stray far. The hosts themselves were very communicative. Before the trip, they sent along a guestbook full of helpful information about places to eat and things to do while on the island. They provided detailed information about accessing the property. They also reacted quickly when we had an issue with the room (the keypad on the door was not working when we first arrived) and resolved it within minutes.

Beautiful property with a great location

This property is right where you want to be, the beach was beautiful and the complex had nicer chairs specifically for its guests so we never had to worry about a place to sit on the beach. It was conveniently located near food and a grocery. The place was kept very nice and it didn’t feel like we sacrificed any luxuries from the mainland staying here. 10/10 recommend for a nice, quiet getaway.

Cute beachfront cottage-very accessible!

We were looking for something that was fairly accessible for my mom who is older and has issues with stairs, etc and this was a fantastic find. The studio/cottage is a direct walk out to the sand, no steps or hills to climb. Additionally the walking is on a paved path, so very good for anyone using a walker or cane. The unit is bright, cheerful and very very clean. The bed is large and comfortable. We enjoyed watching movies in the evening and being able to walk to the beach bar from the unit. If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable home base to explore St. Thomas, you can't do better than this! It is also very handy to get into Red Hook to the ferry dock. We did find that it was cheaper to get a cab to Red Hook from the Sapphire Beach Bar than it was from the Sapphire Beach West/Crystal Cove gates. We loved it.
