Nice, solid property. Not fancy but a good, clean place to stay for the price. I would book another stay at this hotel.

Very retro room. NOT a problem. The problem is that the smell of mold/must was OVERWHELMING. My husband has very bad sensitivity to molds and must and the room was intolerable. We paid for 2 day, only stayed one night because neither one of us could breathe. We took the financial loss over feeling ill.

Mold/mildew odor throughout room, but owner was friendly

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: tv voice was about 20 seconds ahead of the picture
The owner greeted me very warmly and mentioned new management making improvements as they can. They are trying - new carpet - spray on tile coating in bathroom. The odor of mold and mildew was evident upon opening the door. The hotel is 26 miles from State College - not 17.
