Amazing stay and would 100% recommend this hotel. We stayed in a premium hot tub room, which was fab, but next time we go we will book the whole hog!
The food was lovely too!
First time at this hotel, the room was beautiful, very cleans and comfortable and location was fantastic, we ate in the restaurant which was 5 star, we would definitely recommend
Superb hospitality from arrival to departure , stunning , clean and comfortable rooms Made the stay for my partners 40th. Elevations memorable
Food in dining room was exceptional and the service was second to none
Overall 100% a 10/10 stay will definitely be returning , Faultless
Easy check in and room was lovely.
Dinner and breakfast were very good
Cons - couldnât connect to WiFi and no phone service with my network.
Hot tub wasnât warm or powerful enough. Would have stayed in longer if it had of been the case
Stayed with my Wife for our first Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in Room 2. It was absolutely incredible. There were a few extra touches such as anniversary card, truffles and macrons and rose petals on the bed with towels folded into swans. The copper bath was huge. There was a hot tub in the garden area that was also perfect for two. There was a well stocked mini bar with some thoughtful extras. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was faultless. We had breakfast served in our room that was also delicious, with plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway.
Some very good, some not so good, mainly very good
Super room, spacious quirky, huge tin bath which we both enjoyed, seperately I might add. Good sized bathroom with shower. The only issue was not cleanliness but dust in the room. I'm not saying it hadn't been dusted but there was dust flying around that settled on surfaces. Perhaps it's the nature of the room we were in but be aware if you are dust sensitive that may be an issue for you. There is an outside area with hot tub which we did not use. The food was really good, excellent choice at breakfast and dinner, every meal was cooked to a good standard. Overall service was good with a couple of exceptions. You can tell someone who has worked in establishments like this for a while. They are able to deal with people and have an air of confidence in managing situations, even difficult ones. The Immaculate Pig has a few of these types who were excellent, unfortunatley the one we encountered at dinner on the first night who wasn't. Initially she advised there was no booking for us, as we had booked at check in we knew there was. On being shown to a table we were given menus but not advised about the specials board which we only discovered later. The water we asked for didn't materialise and our order taken in an unprofessional manner. A slight issue was the bar after our meal. The first night it was fine but the second raucous and noisy as it is open to the public, we would have preferred a quiet reidents area. Overall we would have no hesitation in returning though.
Wrong room type. Room didnât match the description or photos that I had booked. Told that I had to take this up with hotels.com as they couldnât take responsibility. Service was poor. A catalogue of mistakes with food orders, waiting staff and much more throughout the 2 days. Charging points for my car did not work. Coffee machine In the room didnât work. No one seemed to be that interested in any of this even when youâve paid ÂŁ520 for one night. Overall would not recommend. Try the cranleigh or yorbridge house, much better quality and service overall.
This was an impeccable stay from start to finish. The room was a delight to be in. So much attention to detail. It was all covered. The hot tub and huge copper bath kept us entertained for hours. This was a truly relaxing night away. The restaurants and bar is beautiful. So quirky and individual which I love. The food was all really nice. Lots of choice and all executed well. We had various cocktails too which all tasted delicious.
The next day breakfast was equally delicious and in general I canât recommend this place enough.
Due to covid the extra measures they have in place made me feel as safe as you can and they clearly pride themselves on service. Everybody is so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
Itâs worth every penny. You must try it, you wonât be disappointed.
Good local stay. food was excellent, drinks steep and delayed service but it was a packed Saturday night so no complaints. Room was new and lovely inside, great alternative to similar boutiques further away
