Alan a été trÚs accueillant et sympathique. Les alentours sont magnifiques et le pont de skye est à 15 minutes en voiture. Le prix est trÚs intéressant pour la région. Mais le logement est vraiment trÚs sale et vétuste, c'est pour cela que ma note est trÚs basse.

En fait, je n'ai jamais Ă©tĂ© accueilli dans cet Ă©tablissement car Mr fait du surbooking. RĂ©sultat, dans un pays oĂč le logement de vacances est tendu, j'ai trouvĂ© un autre hĂ©bergement vers 20h30!Donc, c'est scandaleux et je ne recommande pas!

Endroit simpa mais un peu vieillot, le logement gagnerait Ă  ĂȘtre rafraĂźchi niveau salle de bain, chambre et cuisine. HĂŽte simpatique et rĂ©actif.

Cottage atypique un peu isolé. Propreté douteuse SystÚme électrique pas adapté: nous avons voulu utiliser le dryer. Le circuit électrique de la moitié de l'appartement s'est coupé...

gite bien situé au calme et dans la verdure C'est le point positif. l'ensemble est vieillot, trÚs encombré et pas trÚs net. Une nuit d'étape pour laver et sécher le linge, c'est tout ce qu'on peut attendre ce ce gite.

I ignored the reviews and booked this place as I could find nothing else in the area.The unusual decor was no surprise as this was very clear in the pictures. Neither was the 3rd bed being a mattress on the floor.Unfortunately the place was not clean. The floors had not been vacuumed and there was a layer of grime on switches and pipes. This could only be as a result of long term failure to clean the place properly. Zoom in on the pics.It was also much too expensive for its size and facilities compared to other properties we had booked on the NC500 route.

Lovely location with a short walk down to a harbour with beautiful views. The property is a little dated. The kitchen/dining/lounge area is all in one small room. The bathroom is downstairs. There are steep stairs up to the bedroom which is an attic room with low sloped ceilings. The kitchen utensils were basic. There was no tin opener. Fortunately we had a multi-use tool with us that had a tin opener. The area closest to the house was very wet and muddy when we're staying and I think it could do with some more gravel on it. We ended up parking further down the road. The garden area has nowhere to sit out.Overall it was a nice place to stay and we found it suited our needs because we were only there for 3 days.

This place is pretty quirky, with a kitchen plus 2 armchairs and a small table for dining, bathroom and bedroom upstairs with quite a low ceiling. Parking is good. Place warms up quickly, shower is electric and fine, warm water only from kitchen hot tap, so small and compact place with a price to match compared to other places in the immediate area.

Filthy place not cleaned properly. Bathroom products clearly used already. Owners food left in freezer. Cobwebs everywhere. Kitchen and attic is all you get. Impossible to stand in bedroom. Wall hangings everywhere which we believe is to cover damp or dirty patches. Smoke detector not installed. Threadbare beds and seats. Smelt bad. Overall feeling of not wanting to sit down on anything for fear of catching something! It was so filthy we didnÂŽt stay there!!! Even though weÂŽd spent hours driving there we then had to sit in car for 2 more hours to find a new hotel. Birthday trip ruined. Owner totally unhelpful and uninterested.

Upon arrival we inspected the house. The entrance looked as if the apt was abandon. Once we entered and inspected the house i was appalled! The Vrbo text for the bedroom stated 2 double beds and 1 twin. The bedroom had 1 double bed and a single mattresses on the floor!!! The single bathroom had 2 worn and faded towels. I reserved this for a party of 3 months ago.There were extention cords across the floor in the bedroon and a portable space heater for the bath had an extension cord over the floor, under the door and snaked inyo a nearby outlet. The pictures do not represent what the property looks like in person! We returned the key and left to find other accommodations...even though it was later and raining. I have reached out to the owner twice in the last 48 hrs and he has not responded.

This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. There are a lot of interesting pictures and items on the walls that give one the impression that you are a visitor in someone’s home. Of course the bed was fine, the hot water plentiful, and the washer and dryer handy. My short stay here was very nice and added to my experiences in Scotland. I hope to get visit again.

Stop over on NC500

A little remote but lively location. The headroom in the upstairs bedroom is a little restrictive for a tall chap like myself. It was a slight challenge to find the various light switches but no drama. Kettle, tea and coffee were provided but no milk. Emergency provisions (canned soup and some frozen items) were available but it is a 20 minute ride/drive to the next village where I had a delicious meal at the seafood restaurant.
