Leaways is a rural cottage with ancient wooden beams. You may spot a woodlouse or two, but rest assured they are completely completely harmless!
The BBQ is available for use from April to October.
We both really enjoyed our 3 day stay. Large cottage with some real character. Good location, not too far out of the way. Nice wood burner and conservatory. Very private. Huge AGA stove, dishwasher, everything you need. Excellent welcome pack.Would stay again.
We had a lovely stay at this impressive property. I absolutely love old houses and this one certainly didn't disappoint. It is full of charm but has mod-cons to ensure a very comfortable stay too. It seemed much bigger than we expected and so gorgeous and warm to keep the January chill at bay.We drove to visit Birmingham Sea Life (approx. 1hr 20 min) one day which was fantastic but stayed local the following day and took a long walk around Tinkley Park (National Trust owned) which we enjoyed.I refuse to cook on holiday but the cottage has everything you could possibly need if you want to prepare meals there. The town of Nailsworth is a few minutes drive away and we had delicious pizzas from Oldstone Pizzeria and a tasty Chinese from The Chop Suey House. Chips from Walkers were great too.Communication with the owners was great and they were very kind and understanding when my husband damaged the wood burner (We'll pay for the damage of course) - much more understanding than I was! This is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit The Cotswolds. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Sarah, Mark and Osian x
We enjoyed the house and surrounding property. I will say if you have a spider or bug phobia then I would warn you that they are everywhere. We had to kill so many while there. Having a person who has this phobia was a challenge in the house. Aside from that we did enjoy our stay and any issues we had Will took care to answer all our questions. We loved the welcome basket, and the house overall was very cozy and comfy. The spiral staircase was fun. Made me nervous about falling but I was cautious and it didn't happen. The scenery was just beautiful. It felt like we were living in a Thomas kinkade home. We did love it. â€ïž
My family and I had the most magical Christmas in this beautiful property in Horsley. The accomodation was very well equipped and tastfully decorated for the Christmas season lending it as the perfect location for our first Christmas away from home. The property is surrounded by breathtaking walks and is within walking distance of the village Horsley. We had the most wonderful stay here and will definitely be returning in the future.
We are so pleased we stumbled upon this beautiful property, the photos look awesome and the house is even more beautiful when seen-set off perfectly by the tapping of woodpeckers.
Lovely welcome hamper too Thankyou x
