Welcome to Cabin in the Woods, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This stunning wooded getaway features an open concept living space with 3 bedrooms, a loft area, and 2 bathrooms. This is a pet-friendly cabin where you can find a gorgeous wraparound deck to enjoy the secluded quiet of the woods with a fire pit and yard games to make your stay complete. The home is located on a private road with a beautiful tranquil setting. With how secluded it feels, you wouldn't believe it's just a few minutes from the county park boat launch and beaches along the bay of Green Bay.

We love our family pet dogs and welcome yours too. Your well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval. This property allows up to 2 dogs. There is an additional fee collected at booking.

We are centrally located, about 10 miles north of Sturgeon Bay, and a few miles south of Egg Harbor.
Sturgeon Bay has grocery stores, pharmacies, and department stores (Walmart and Target), and restaurants. Egg Harbor has shopping, restaurants, and a grocery store.

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, weddings, or other gatherings.

Cabin was nice and in a great spot, rooms were large and comfortable. I would say you could sleep 6 comfortably. Very little in the ways of amenities, very poor cell service. Wifi was fine, but the 5 gB daily limit for so many people is overly restricting. Lots of hidden fees, ended up totalling over 500 of extra fees which was a little disappointing. Plus if you are planning on bringing a dog, there's a 50 fee per dog per night that is not made clear to you until 3 days before check in

Checkin and checkout process very simple.Very Clean! Beautiful home set privately in woods. Kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials to prepare nice family meals.Suggestions:Living Room does not have adequate comfortable seating for the amount of guests allowed. Only seats 4. (Couch and arm chair)—Limited mirrors. Only have 2 small mirrors throughout house—which makes getting ready for dinner reservations a little crowded and tricky.—would recommend sweeping off porch—near windows and doors to remove the very established spider webs .

Cabin in the Woods

A nice secluded cabin for a family weekend. The property was overall very clean and spacious. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and appreciated a place to bring our dog. Some additional feedback: It was disappointing to even check-in an hour early (when the property was ready) you are charged a fee of 50. The property is not accessible until exactly 4:00. For the cost per night that was frustrating. Secondly, there is a lot of clutter around the house, not much space to set things down in the living room and kitchen. All the cabinets are full making it hard to find a place to store our food and snacks, etc. The counter is already quite full of appliances. There seems to be a lot of unnecessary knickknacks everywhere. The primary bathroom has a lot of ants crawling on the back of the sink. Not sure where they are coming from? The porch could use a good sweep and clean in between visitors, the cobwebs and nests make it not the most enjoyable place to sit.

Pet friendly cabin in the woods

This place checked all the boxes for a long weekend. “Limited mobility” friendly with bedroom and shower on main level. Loved the walk with the puppy to exercise and see wildlife and sunsets. Everything you needed, well supplied for families and out of way for quiet getaways. Would definitely return (with matches for the fire pit).

Great secluded location

Very beautiful setting, clean home with comfy beds. The code provided in email didn't work for the door when we got there, but there was a number to call and I was able to get a working code right away. I extended my stay and overall thought their team was very easy to contact and coordinate with through the VRBO app, as well. That was much appreciated. Would stay again!

Perfect home for vacation!

From the moment we entered until the time we had to leave, the stay on Egg Harbor was great! The home was perfect and Rocky, our Schnauzer was relaxed at home. The home had everything we needed and then soon. My husband and I have been to Door County before and love the area. The rest of our group had never been to Door County or eve. The Midwest.
