The size was just what we needed. The home was very clean inside, cosmetics updates were underway. Paint, woodwork, flooring being replaced. Water pressure was always questionable. Outdoor space was a bit disappointing. When pull up to house, lots of outdoor furniture piled up on both sides. Looked like a bit of a junk pile. Repair to large boat dock occurring during afternoon when we are trying to enjoy the pool. This was fine, don't mind the repair at all, but was very loud and made difficult to enjoy the beautiful pool. I will add, didn't keep us out....The saving grace from the Ozark heat. Our host was exceptional, always responding to any questions or help in any way. Would we return? Absolutely !

Family Reunion

We celebrated our anniversary with our five children, their spouses, eighteen grandchildren, ages 2 to 24, and one great grandchild. We did not feel crowded at all. The kitchen was wonderful and had a nice pantry attached. The garage which was converted into a game room was popular with everyone. We all appreciated the fact that so many of the bedrooms were king suites. Communication with the property host, John, was excellent. This is a beautiful and spacious home and the views from their decks are fantastic. Please note there are three levels to this home which also means lots of steps. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Everything about our stay/experience was fantastic. Great communication with the owner, and when something did come up (refrigerator went out!) he was SO quick to fix the situation. Beautiful views and spacious enough for our large family. Photos in the app don’t even do it justice. Very nice!

The location was great. House was big and accommodated a large group. Was disappointed about how small the oven was, gas grill didnt work, cob webs were in the walls of the home. Patio furniture a few chairs were broke. The owners were very nice and responded quickly when we needed anything.

Great Vacation

We had a group of 19 mostly family, with a few friends for 6 nights and I can say this was a great vacation. The house is very big and spacious and fit our group perfectly with 9 bedrooms and multiple living spaces. The 2nd level living/game room was utilized most by our group as a great space to hang out. Here is a list of pros and cons of this property. Pros: Location, the view overlooking the main channel is great. Spacious Open concept living spaces Pool Hot Tub Comfortable Bedding Cons: Cleanliness, the property could really use a deep clean Main channel location makes for rough waters at the dock Outdated - the fixtures, appliances and some furniture need to be updated. Lastly, the communication with the property group was usually very responsive. My one issue is we booked this property about a year in advance but didn’t get a welcome packet or anything until about 6 weeks before our trip. At that time it was mentioned we would be charged extra for using to dock to store boats overnight which was never mentioned in the listing. I communicated this to them and they were very understanding cooperative and ended up not charging us. Overall, if we do go back to the Ozarks we would consider this property again.

90th Birthday Family Reunion

We had a family celebration with a large group of all ages. There was plenty of space for everyone without feeling crowded. The views are spectacular and many enjoyed the pool and the big dock that afforded swimming and fishing and just fun at the lake. The kitchen was well stocked. There were some minor issues but the host was attentive to our concerns and questions.

Beautiful Property

Big house, well appointed, very clean. Quite a few amenities (swimming, table-based games, entertainment areas, etc) and a well furnished kitchen. There are always things that one can complain about when it comes to living in someone else's house, but this property had all the necessary ingredients for a relaxing large family gathering. Very communicative property management, which makes it easy to resolve issues and get questions answered.

Perfect stay for family reunion

We couldn't have been happier with our stay! The house was absolutely perfect with gathering spaces and also places to retreat away if needed. our large group of family members from all over the country loved it, we never really left the house and just wanted to spend time together, there house was perfect for that. We enjoyed watching the boats cruise by and the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. The pool was great but we did have to fish the ball out of the lake a few times if the wind got it just right. The lake is busy on the weekends so the water was a bit rough on Friday when we rented a boat. It Calmed way down on Sunday and was perfect for jet skis and boating on Monday. We had a similar issue as other reviewers with a few of the showers not having hot water but learned that was either caused by a few being reversed plumbed or if you turn the knob all the way to one side. There's a sweet spot if you don't turn it all the way to one side and you get hot water. Problem solved. We never did figure out the Sonos system. If we are ever in need of a large home in the Ozarks, I'd definitely stay again. John was amazing to work with!

Amazing

The property was as advertised. We had our family of 18 people ages 18 months to 76 years. The house was large enough that everyone had their own space and we could all congregate in the kitchen/dining area, by the pool and in the recreation room. The family all agreed that it was an amazing stay and we totally enjoyed our week at the house. Each family takes a turn at preparing meals for a day. There was plenty of room in the kitchen. The pool was definitely the big draw. We spent many hours hanging out there. Some of the kids enjoyed golfing and some went to a cave tour, but we mostly spent time playing cards and games at the house. The owners were very responsive the few times we had questions. We would certainly go back again.

After renting several VRBO’s in the past for our annual trip to the Ozarks this house is our favorite for lots of reasons: House so clean including all 7 bathrooms Beds all so comfortable Pool perfect and a wonderful place to hang out Dock great for fishing, swimming and boating Kitchen well equipped for all our cooking needs Incredible sunsets not to mention the bald eagles That flew over our house almost daily Our grandsons LOVED the garage for ping pong and games Last but not least, so much room - 3 large areas to hang out and have conversations Our host John was so attentive and always there for any questions we had! One more thing that we throughly enjoyed were the meals we had catered by Chef Lynn - she was amazing and the meals (a prime rib dinner and a breakfast of made to order omelets, delicious waffles and all the other breakfast fixings! We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a night of from cooking! We have been coming to the Ozarks for 6 years with our family and we all agreed this was our best year and a big part of that was living in the beautiful home for a week! Plenty of Space, Great Location

We had a group of 24 friends and family from across the country meet up for a golf/boating weekend. The house was plenty big for everyone to sleep comfortably. We were able to get to local golf courses/bars/restaurants quickly. The bedrooms/suites are tucked away so folks could escape for some R&R if they wanted. And the views from all the balconies were perfect. Would highly recommend if you’ve got a larger group heading to the lake!

The house was absolutely perfect for our group. Plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen accommodations worked great for us. Enjoyed the pool. Dock was great for jet skies & boat! Communication was perfect for booking & questions I had during my stay. I would highly recommend this vacation spot!

Eagle's Point

Beautiful property - exceptional views of the lake. Our family consisted of 8 adults and 11 children and we have plenty of room to room around. Very nice private pool and dock. Owner was host and he was very helpful. 5 Star Property!

Pros-comfortable accommodation for large groups/multi families. Spacious kitchen for entertaining. Beautiful views/sunsets. Well stocked with linen. Cons-needs a team to clean and check all windows are clean and sheets are free of debris. Missing many curtains in several bedrooms which affects temperature indoors.

The Perfect Setup

Our family of 19 vacations every year together, this year we did our first lake vacation. Eagle Point Mansion was a great home for this vacation. The home itself handled our family very comfortably and is beautiful. The pool and dock area are great, our family spent most of each day between the two areas which are close to each other. This being our first trip to the Lake of the Ozarks John was a great help! He helped us setup dinners with chef Lynn which were excellent. John was also helpful in setting up our boating and wave runner rentals. The week could not have been better.

Excellent Choice

House was perfect for our group of 20, very quiet location, plenty of room and well maintained. Management was always available and handled any issue/question we had immediately. Location was ideal, secluded but yet close enough to town for quick runs. Just a heads up you need to pay a toll for the bridge, $3.00 each way, there aren't any stores or gas stations near the house so a toll is necessary each time you leave unless you want to drive 45 minutes rather than 10-15.. Other than the toll this location, property and management (John) is top notch!

Weekend Stay

The house was nice and spacious with a great view, but there were certainly a few things that our group wished were better. The largest tv in the house (middle level entertainment area) did not have a working cable box, so we were unable to watch any live tv in this area, which was very unfortunate considering there was a blues playoff game on and we could only watch it on the upper level. The host was nice and tried to have it fixed while we were there, but ultimately was unsuccessful so we weren’t able to utilize this space. Another thing the host did inform me of after we had already arrived was that one of the water heaters did not work. Considering we had people sleep in every room, almost half of the showers only had cold water, which was not ideal. The house did have a brand new surround sound sonos speaker system that could be played through the entire house, but unfortunately that also did not work. This would have been something our group definitely would have liked to utilize had it been working. Lastly, our group was hit with an additional cleaning fee after checkout due to extra trash that did not fit in the 2 standard size bins. As we had a big group stay for 3 nights, the trash bins were filled by the middle of the second day, so I would certainly recommend having more trash bins so renters do not get hit with extra charges because there simply is nowhere else to put excess trash. Again, our host was very nice and appreciated everything he did for us, but I think our stay would have been better had the issues listed above been addressed prior to us checking in, especially after considering the price that we paid to be there for 3 nights.
