This home is fully renovated featuring all new flooring, paint, countertops, appliances, vanities, furniture, and TVs, creating an elegant and pristine environment. Spend quality time together in the open living area watching TV, feasting at a large dining table, and preparing meals in the well-equipped full kitchen. Family Vaca

Location was great, 3 min walk to the beach. Layout of house was great. Kitchen stocked and all appliances worked great. I would bring paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. inside of the house was nice, outside deck and porch and screen doors need some Maintenance. We would book the Sea Cloud again.

Great Vacation

We loved Sea Cloud and would recommend to anyone with a family, easy access to the Beach. The kitchen has everything you can imagine, beds were comfortable and we felt at home.

Poorly Maintained

Upon arriving at the house, we noticed the house had not been cleaned at all when the previous renters checked out. There were no sheets on any beds, no towels or any linens, trash in the bathroom and no floors had been cleaned. We called the property management company who quickly sent two ladies to the house who spent a total of 30 minutes cleaning. When we drove up, we noticed the grass hadn't been mowed in what looked like months and was knee high in places. The back screened door was completely torn and open, the rugs in the kitchen were stained, and there were bugs in one of the bathroom cabinets. There was a huge water stain on the living room ceiling as well. The carpet on the stairs was filthy. All of this was such a shame because the home was beautiful and in the perfect location. We really enjoyed ourselves after we had to spend hours cleaning the house ourselves just so we felt the house was clean enough for two small children to safely run around in. Upon checkout, I spoke with the manager of Vacasa who only made excuses for the condition of the home. He stated that the reason the home was left in the condition it was in when we checked in was because it was end of season and yearly maintenance hadn't been done yet. I asked him how it was fair to me and my family that we paid for this home and it wasn't maintained. He had no answer for this at all and told me to complete the survey. I do want to point out that Kay from housekeeping services went out of her way to help fix all of the housekeeping issues. She went above and beyond. Thanks to her we did get a small refund for all of the cleaning that we had to do. This was the first year of our new family tradition of coming to Holden Beach, and we will be back next year....but we will never again stay at a Vacasa property.
