Cozy 2 story single family house on stilts, plenty of parking and room under the house for parking and outdoor living. Large open floor plan with lots of natural light uniting the kitchen dining area and living room, French doors opening out to large deck off the kitchen . There is breakfast counter with barstools, well equipped kitchen and washer and dryer on main floor. One Bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor and other 2 bedrooms and full baths upstairs . The living room has 2 pull out sofas, TV in all resting rooms so you can be entertained if you wish to be or sit back and enjoy the breeze of the ocean. Short walk to the beach, couple blocks from restaurants and many play-grounds. 10 minutes drive to Market Commons, Myrtle Beach, airport, golf courses, Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk and shopping.

What a great property and only a block to the beach! Beds were super comfortable, which is such a perk when away from home. MJ was super communicative anytime we had a question. Loved sitting out on the huge deck sipping coffee and listening to the birds in the morning. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely be back!

Easy, quick walk to the beach from this house, and there is so much room inside! The large deck is lovely with shade and sun throughout the day. Would definitely book again!

This was our second year staying with MJ. As with last year, she was excellent to deal with. She even called us around noon on check-in day to invite us to check in early. The house is in a great location- very quiet neighborhood. The beach is an easy walk, and there’s easy access to King’s Highway for your evening meal. Parking is ideal for anyone needing multiple spots or a large car trailer. I will 100% stay again next year!

Awesome place to stay

The house has so much space, bathrooms and parking. It was a short walk to the beach. The owner was awesome and very fast to respond to any questions or concerns. It's dog friendly and that is a must for our family. Many amenities are included, which is an added bonus. I highly recommend. We had a wonderful vacation

Wonderful week

We had a wonderful week. House is one block from the beach, so easy walk back and forth. The owners were really easy to chat with and responded quickly. The house is pet friendly, and we knew that going in, but did find a lot of pet hair in the home. Kitchen is well stocked - overall, a great home and would rent again.

Wonderful life lives up to the name Clean, up to date and convenient walking to restaurants Go for a pleasant walk through the quiet and gorgeous community including ponds. The scenery is perfect! We would definitely rent again!

Spring Break

MJ was great, answered all our questions before we booked our stay. The house is exactly as posted, great layout for our family and 2 dogs! Loved the neighborhood, great location to walk the dogs and be away from the main beach drag. Quick 1 block walk to the beach, less than a mile walk either direction to bars/restaurants. So nice to have simple necessities provided like Dove soap, Myers hand soaps, and clean sheets and towels! Thanks for a great stay!

It’s a wonderful life

We enjoyed our stay at It’s a Wonderful Life. The house is so cute and we loved the Christmas decorations! Great location and very nice area. Our fur babies loved it too! This was our first time at Surfside Beach and we will definitely be back!

A Wonderful Life

MJ (host) was excellent. She communicated with us throughout the process and made the experience very welcoming. The house was exactly as described- very clean, well furnished, and in a great location. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly- lots of golf carts and dog walkers. Access to the beach was easy- maybe a 5 minute walk. Parking was also excellent- plenty of room for my large van and 20’ car trailer. Overall, I would highly recommend and most likely I will return next year.

Love it!

We come with our dogs and have family vacationing there too. This is a great spot, close to beach and restaurants! We love to take the dogs to the beach and then dinner at one of the restaurants.
