Children very welcome. Superbly equipped, WiFi, centrally heated, 5 comfortable bedrooms. The perfect place in the perfect location for a family get away.
Compass cottage is a lovely house and my family and I really enjoyed our stay. The view from the house was amazing, and we went on so many walks with even more amazing views. It was the relaxing get together time we were all looking for.

Absolutely Perfect
We had a group of 8 staying and up to 11 for dinner. The house was perfect and unbelievably well stocked. The owner was fantastic - making sure we arrived safely, the welcome gifts, Xmas trees all up. While the weather was wet and windy it did not stop us hiking the wonderful Jurassic coast path. Absolutely brilliant stay and cannot recommend this property highly enough. PS don't try and go up and down the steps at Houns Tout in 50 mph winds, calf deep mud and heavy rain. Terrifying!

The property was well equipped particularly in the kitchen. Overall cleanliness good. Social areas are excellent for large family groups. Beds very comfortable. The village is lovely and cottage is in a peaceful setting but close enough to explore area's of interest. Cottage manager very helpful. All in all a very good autumn get-away.

Great Family Vacation
We had a great week at Worth Matravers it is a great base to explore the area with Swanage and Wareham not far. We travelled the coast easily and enjoyed some walks close By to Winspit Quarry. A great family vacation, the house was great for our family and if like us you are a big family then the use of the campsite at the top of the hill was perfect for us all to meet and enjoy a family holiday. The house had everything we needed, plenty cutlery and kitchen equipment, and we enjoyed evenings in the large lounge area a great space for catch ups, wine and games.

All You Need
Great property, spacious, clean , no shop nearby so need a car . Brilliant pub up the road but only does snacks. No restaurants in walking distance. Kitchen in property has a you need . Nearest shop in Swanage . Views are great , but not from back garden only from master bedroom and lounge. But bench out front. Lots of parking . Bathrooms could be up dated but all in working order. Overall a good quiet place to stay .
