The only reason I booked this hotel was for the indoor pool, no one mentioned that the pool was emptied and closed, this ruined our whole stay, and on the page it has several pictures of the pool filled with water even though it’s been emptied and shut down.

HIE Sweetwater was good, but facilities are showing wear. The The toilet seat bumpers were broken off and the shower curtain rod had been replaced, but old connection points not covered over completely. The staff service was excellent!

Dirty and Noisy
The first room’s heater was extremely noisy. Requested and received room change since there was one more king room available. The staff was very accommodating. He met us at the new room with the key cards. Second room heater was noisy too! Food had been spilled on the refrigerator door on the outside and had ran down onto the shelf. The same shelf was a different color because there was so much dust on it.

Nice and easily accessible
Toilet was clogged and they did not have anyone to unclog before checking out...however we were able to use the one down next to the lobby and the complimentary breakfast was awesome! Lots of choices!

I guess the hotel provides babysitting for staff
We were staying in town due to a family emergency. Sleep was desperate. Check in was easy and fast. Came back to put my head on my pillow and all I heard all night were kids running up and down the hall and getting things out of the vending machine.
The hotel wasn't sold out, and I believe I paid a decent amount for a holiday inn express, yet I was placed right by the vending machine. When I looked out of my room, I gave the kids a stern look, but it didn't stop them. I later saw them in the front office area, so even if I would've complained it probably wouldn't have helped.
I'll stay at the Hampton next door next time...I loved it the last time I stayed.
