There is no valet for valet parking. They are badly understaffed. The rooms have issues - the bathroom door doesn't shut, the taps are leaking, etc... this place used to be great but now it's a mess.

Position, position, position!

Room was great, position perfect (for us!), weather outrageously good, which always helps, China Doll restaurant (unrelated, but on site) was excellent, hotel breakfast was poor, and hotel cafe service was glacially slow! But the position made up for almosr everything.

This hotel is architectuarally beautiful. We were there in June and as a result of the open stairways to the harbor it was very cold all the time in the restaurant, lobby, and hallway. The free guest laundry was amazing. I may be one of the only people that does laundry on vacation but it made me so happy to have it available and having it for free was even better. The pool and hot tub were warm and clean. The service was good.

We used to stay here a lot over previous years. Stopped coming because the prices went up to the crazy sphere. Managed to snag a good deal this time but we were pretty disappointed that all of the cool quirky stuff seems to have disappeared. There was no fun bag of goodies, no free mini bar, not even a welcome drink like there used to be. It really felt like the place had lost its soul. Also, the most uncomfortable lounge we have ever sat on! It’s like someone had removed all of the back cushions so you can not physically sit on the lounge without either your feet not touching the floor or your slouched down. Then there was the ONE coffee pod per person (ie two in total), one peppermint, one free tea bag…there were two earl grey and two English breakfast. Please Ovolo, get your mojo back!

Best Customer Service We Have EVER Had!

The customer service at this hotel was amazing!!! We had issues with our rental car breaking down and they went above and beyond with trying to assist us. We had even checked out and they still continued to help us and were extremely communicative, hospitable, and friendly. The room had a gorgeous view, was very spacious and decorated in a trendy/modern way. The location was about a 20 minute walk to the Sydney Opera House and Botanical Gardens. The onsite restaurants were decorated beautifully and were very welcoming. I give this property a 10 plus out of 10! It was a great find:)
