I’ve stayed at the view many times for work purposes. This time I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and felt very welcomed. The lady on reception who checked me in and also checked me out after 3 nights was lovely. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name but she was friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable as always. The beds and pillows are the best of all other hotels in the area. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back again.

We keep coming back!

This is a great hotel. Train nearby for the city and Billy Barry’s pub across the road is a must!! Rooms have great views and the restaurant is lovely too. Have had multiple stays here and happy to recommend.

The hotel was good and comfortable; great value for money. The staff at front desk, dinning area, and cleaning were nice, friendly, and helpful. Hotel near train station making it easy to get to various areas of Sydney. The room was clean, comfortable, and big enough.

Train noise unbearable. i contacted the hotel after booking requesting to stay in a room on a high floor as reviews about train noise was concerning. this past weekend. I stated that we were coming from North Queensland for a break and needed a quiet room. i received a response saying that i needed to lay $20 extra per night to guarantee staying on floors 11-14. I was disheartened to have to pay extra to guarantee a high floor room. However, I figured that if there are 10 levels for Harbour Bridge King rooms which is what i booked, chances are following my specific request I would most likely out of good will on the part of the Hotel, have a room on a floor closer to floor 10. What I didn't expect was to check in and find that we were allocated Room 202. For two days/nights, the train shook the room. it was also so loud we needed to shout to speak to each other. all day and night. Although the view was nice, I am have no doubt something higher up and still a Harbour Bridge King would have been better. I don't know if rooms are allocated by Reservations or by the check in staff. I found the person who checked us in to be very condescending. She looked at my partner and I like we were garbage. I was considering booking the hotel for a future function with at least 20+ rooms required. Not anymore. "Big mistake. Huge".

Only good thing is pet friendly. Not safe.

I really try to avoid bad reviews but this was terrible stay. I advised i would be arriving after midnight and told reception 24/7. Drove 10 hrs arrived at 4am. Reception closed. Waited 35 mins with kids asleep in car. told me he closed reservation as assumed i wasnt coming. Staff member then wrote my credit card details on a piece of paper and he said was for safe keeping in case. Got to room exhausted. Went to sleep. 7-8am someone proceeded to bang on our door very loud and then opened our door and entered our room. Thank goodness we had pet approved room and my dog scared them off. Went back to sleep very uneasy making sure kids were furtherest from the door. Then phone rang 3 times between 9:30-10am. So woken up again after getting to sleep at 6am. Woke up and attempted to go to lunch and could not ;eave car park. Ended up getting an uber. Came back and went up to our room and key cards now didnt work, went back downstairs. Reception advised there was a mix up and they gave someone my room key so cancelled all (thats how somoene accessed my room). To apologise gave me 2 free drinks to the bar for putting our safety at risk while travelling with underage people. Obviously went unused. Went upstairs and dint want to leave our belongings in room so stayed in. Attempted to leave and again key cards didnt work for parking. Had to use another key card from the return key box to be able to exit. Upon getting home they have continued to charge my card $10-$15 multple charges.
