The hotel Sylva is beautifully renovated, comfortable and very convenient to everything that the town has to offer. We love the staff. Everyone was very friendly and the room was comfortable. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay in Hotel Sylva. It's in a great location. You can walk to several restaurants. It's also a clean hotel with comfortable beds. The only downside is that it's downtown and you get some vehicle noise.

We loved staying here. Great communication. Easy check-in and out. The location is perfect. Comfy beds. Other small towns could benefit by using your business model. The shower had great water pressure, but the temperature was too hot. It took almost 5 minutes for the water to get hot. Once it was hot, it wouldn't go back to warm or cool. We were told that happens because it is an old building with old pipes. We love staying in old places that have been brought back to life. Old buildings and old pipes have never been an issue.

Happy Days in Sylva

Single traveler for a local bike tour. Could not be happier with location in town with great access to food and other activities. Bike tours start across the street. Room was clean, updated bathroom and a rocking chair on the porch. Staff was helpful and cordial. Was a happy camper without the tent.

We have stayed at Hotel Sylva several times, but this was the first time with the current owners. We love the upgrades made to the rooms - walk in shower, large vanity area beside the.sink, new furniture and in room Keurig. The property is right downtown with shopping, restaurants and bars all an easy walk away. Friday night they had music in the park across the street which was an added bonus. The check in was contactless so we never interacted with the staff face to face, but they responded quickly when I had a question about the room prior to our arrival.
