Beautiful home with 180' of Lakefront!

Renovated spacious home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and tons of room to spread out. The home sits on over 1.5 acres where you are on 180' of waterfront. The kitchen is well equipped for the cook, there are books and movies for rainy days, covered porch to sit and enjoy morning coffee, patio that extends the length of the home to enjoy a bbq or have a small fire in the breeo stove, a boat house with Adirondack chairs to enjoy to sunset and a dock to fish off or tie a boat to.

The home is located in the Finger Lakes wine country and has easy access to downtown Auburn only 4 miles away for restaurants and shopping. Only 1.5 miles away from Emerson Park and a public boat launch, and 6 miles from downtown Skaneateles for more restaurants and entertainment . There is also tons of hiking and biking trails less than 30 min away. Being on the East side of the lake you can always stay on the property and enjoy some amazing sunsets.

“Epic Week”

As quoted by my 7 & 9 year old grandchildren.This was our 3rd summer staying at this beautiful lake home. Check in and check out was flawless. The listing is spot on with description of the house and the property. We like the location especially because of the shallow water entry for the grandkid, it’s fishing and swimming friendly dock, spacious outdoor patio and proximity to the outings and friends we visit in Auburn. Inside the rooms are bright and cheerful. The kitchen is a cook’s delight. We slept great on the comfortable beds after our days in sun and water.

Perfect stay

This charming home with gorgeous views of Owasco Lake and an exceptional library was the perfect setting for our family get-together. The house has been updated with modern amenities, but still preserves the ambience of an old-fashioned lake house. It is extremely well-appointed and the owners have thought of every detail you might need for your stay. There is plenty to do in the area, but you might not find a reason to leave this beautiful spot once you've settled in.

Lovely! Such a beautiful lake-front home!

What a great place to visit! Clear communication in advance and easy to find, we were greeted by the friendly host who provided some helpful advice about the area. This house is beautiful, so clean and well appointed (with lovely cool AC) that you'd be happy to never go out - the kitchen is perfect, with all new appliances and tools/utensils, the living room is classy and cool with awesome views and nice bookshelves. The TV nook is super cozy for movie nights. The bedrooms are comfortable and peaceful. We rented a boat for a day and brought it to "our" dock to come and go as we pleased, and we used the home's kayaks also, great to have those amenities at hand. The patio - awesome for breakfast with a view, nice patio table for dinners and then the firepit. We enjoyed the area too, of course, local beer and wineries, nice restaurants and cool towns.

Great Lakehouse

I’ve stayed here twice. It’s by far the nicest house I’ve rented on Owasco Lake. It’s clean, comfortable, well appointed, well furnished and well managed. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

The Best!

This was probably the best rental I have ever stayed at. The location was great and the whole house and property, including the porch, patio, landscaping and lawn were beautiful. The house was so comfortable with everything we needed but not cluttered at all. The kitchen was stocked with seemingly new items as well as linens. Communication was responsive, friendly and helpful!

Our favorite rental - Ever!!

This place tops the list of all the rentals we've ever experienced!! Great location on quiet Owasco Lake, but easy and scenic drives to other Finger Lakes. The house is super comfortable, and we slept like babies in the upstairs bedrooms. We were able to park right outside the kitchen door, making loading a breeze. Saw beautiful sunsets every evening, and even had a chance to kayak around the lake. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!!

What a view

The house is absolutely as beautiful as pictured but no camera can capture the fabulous lake view! What a wonderful week spent here, each day started with coffee and watching the woodland wildlife scampering at the edge of the lake. The firepit on the patio was such a nice way to top off the evening after enjoying a glass of wine on the dock. Would definitely return and reccomend to others.

Escape to Paradise

A five star review isn't enough...it is deserving of so much more! We were 2 couples celebrating each of our 25th wedding anniversaries and we picked the right place to make it extra special! This house/property/view/vacation absolutely beat our expectations! The host is a dream to work with and is quick to respond to all communications which was very much appreciated. Be prepared to have your breath taken away at first glance coming down the driveway then once again inside the house. You are greeted by a remarkably clean kitchen that sparkles and shines that leads into a warm and comfortable space with an incredibly peaceful view. There is ample places to sit, relax, eat, play and enjoy the surroundings. The covered porch, the beautiful new patio, the boat house, the yard, the dock, the kitchen island, the kitchen table, the living/family room provided us with peace, tranquility, fun and extraordinary memories that we will forever cherish. We used the kayaks and swam in the lake...easy access for both of these things. I have said a lot and can say so much more! We look forward to returning to this paradise to relive and make more memories! THANK YOU SO MUCH! : )

Perfect getaway

This house is gorgeous and is exactly what you wish for when you're looking for a Lake house. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. Everything in the house feels brand new. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and it was great we could use the gas grill. 4 kayaks. Comfortable beds. Various outdoor seating options. What's not to love?

Lake house private paradise

From the moment we entered the property we were amazed at how clean and superbly equipped it was. The lake view is beautiful from several levels with lots of seating inside and out. We loved waking up each morning in the very comfortable bed and seeing the sparkling lake below. We enjoyed our peaceful 5 days at this amazing home and would highly recommend a stay for small or large groups.

Spectacular stay - highly recommend

Hard to beat this rental on Owasco Lake. The pictures are accurate, and actually don’t totally do it justice. The home itself is clean, cozy, and well-stocked with all the essentials for a lake trip. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen has everything necessary to cook three meals per day. This is a very nice part of the lake without weeds. We spent a lot of time down on the dock and swimming / fishing in the water. Best part of the home is the huge patio with fire pit. There is a somewhat steep hill to get down to the lake, so it was nice to have this area to relax especially for the older family members. Loved this place and highly recommend!

Fantastic Lake House

My two children, age 14 and 15 and my elderly Father were looking for a quick getaway after my mother recently passed away. My father has Parkinson’s and gets around with a walker. This house was the PERFECT answer. We are from Syracuse and usually go to Skaneateles but Owasco is our new favorite lake. We also stay in VRBOs all of the time and this is by far the most well equipped house we have stayed in. Everything you could ever need or want in terms of cooking and cleaning is available. The house and the property are beautiful! Two areas with fire pits, plentiful outside seating, beautiful lake views with a beautiful boat house with deck to watch the sunsets. The beds were all comfortable and the bathrooms all remodeled beautifully. The owners and family were extremely prompt in responses but we rarely needed them. The last thing I’ll say is I am pretty high maintenance so the fact that I didn’t have one complaint/feedback tells you something! :) We will definitely be back!!!

Gem on Owasco Lake

Our family enjoyed our second year staying at this beautiful home. It is exactly as listed on vrbo. The pictures tell it all. A few things we like are - the mattresses are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and the water front is walk’in for little ones. The location is very Convenient to Wegmans, Emerson Park, Fillmore Glen State Park, Skaneateles’ shops and restaurants. The surrounding country roads are perfect for cycling and runs too.

Perfect Family Trip

We absolutely loved this lakefront home! We had the best stay, and cannot wait to use it again in the future. The home was very clean and well equipped with anything and everything you may need. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with lots of furniture and fire pits. We contacted the host once regarding how to work the TV and within minutes we had an answer- fabulous communication! The property is gorgeous, with easy access to the lake! All around a perfect vacation home!

Family lake vaca!

The house is a beautiful home. Had everything we needed and more to cook great meals. Was perfect for our family to spend a week on the lake. The yard is great for our little ones to run. Having the dock so close by was great to access our boat, for fishing and the boys to skip rocks. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful to watch. Perfect location and home for our family getaway. Immaculate comfortable and well equipped home

Everything was wonderful! We would have liked to have had a dock to moor our boat during our stay, we had to use a marina. Other than that, the stay was just great!
