Newly Remodeled Sunny Corner Condo with Wide Open Back Yard #192

Nice Lake Forest Glen vacation rental, comfortable, clean and newly upgraded. New furniture in the living room (and throughout the unit) to cozy up on in summer or winter. Gas Fireplace adds ambiance during cold nights. The back yard is open to a grassy (or in the winter, snowy) common area. The master bedroom features it own bathroom and a king-size bed. One guest room has a queen bed and the other has two set of twin bunk beds. Great for a couple or for the whole family! Wifi and Cable. Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, Lake Forest Glen Condominiums are set in a lovely meadow between the highway and the lake. It is an easy walk to Skylandia Park Beach, Bristlecone Beach and many others on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This development features two pools, a sauna, hot tub (for year-round use), tennis courts, pickleball and a children's play area.. Each unit has two reserved parking spots . The complex is close to Tahoe City, ski areas including Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, Northstar and Homewood Mountain, shopping and fine dining. The Coast Guard boat launch is just around the corner for our summer guests. Plus there is convenient access to great biking and walking trails, both on and off-road. In the winter, drive up the street to the Tahoe Cross Country XC Center. Easy short drive to Tahoe City with great restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

Great space, quiet community

We had plenty of space and appreciated the 2.5 baths, laundry, lots of beds, and clean space. It was exceptionally warm weather during our stay so the lack of A/C was noticed but there were lots of fans but took awhile to cool down the upstairs. We used the family pool which was basic but clean and quiet. The pillows were much too thick/puffy for our liking and our necks were sore from trying to use them. We also received a waiver via email from the property management company but they clarified it was not needed for the VRBO rental.

Perfect for a Tahoe Weekend Getaway

The unit is upgraded nicely. Lake Forest Glen has a great hot tub for the winter time. The lake is 10 minute walk. Our family enjoyed the unit.

Spacious, Cozy Condo

Our extended family of 6 adults and 1 infant had a nice winter weekend stay. The living room, dining room and kitchen were spacious and the heater worked well. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a very short drive to Safeway and restaurants in Tahoe City. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

Property was easy to access, very clean, and comfortable. Beds were great, kitchen was well stocked and the patio is a nice feature. The small closet under the stairs had some great extras including plenty of beach chairs. Very close to the the pool and hot tub. We walked to the beach the first evening but realized you need to drive if you're bringing chairs, etc as it's a few blocks away. The parking lot is very small at the beach but there is street parking. Condo is a short drive to Tahoe City which has anything you could need. Definitely would recommend this condo!

Great Tahoe getaway

The extended family stayed here for 3 nights. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was a 5 minute drive to the lake. The beds were comfy. Kitchen was stocked and we cooked several meals in it. The kids pool didn’t have a hot tub and you couldn’t see the stars at night from the hot tub at the adult pool because of the glaring spot light. But it was only a minor inconvenience. There was a table in the back deck to eat on with a giant umbrella for when the sun was too intense. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything you need!

Overall great place to stay and we'd return. Excellent location - very close to Palisades + Alpine skiing, and down the street from Tahoe City. Nice amount of space for our two small families to share. Good basic supplies. Lots of bath towels! Nice, cozy blankets. Comfortable beds and covers. Good, functional dishwasher. Access to excellent and nearby playground and hot-tub. Easy parking. Downsides: ant problem (along the ledge of window above couch - tried to kill them but they kept finding their way to crawl on me while watching TV), dated TV cabinet - bad use of space, broken toaster oven, wall-to-wall carpeting - even in the dining room, hot-tub jets turn off at 9pm.

Excellent house, perfect location

We had a fantastic time as a group of 8 young adults working remotely. Comfy bedrooms and living room, excellent kitchen supplies, a walk from the lake, and an easy drive to Squaw/Alpine. The internet also supported all of us working.

Awesome place for whole Family!

We loved this house. Perfect size, lots of snow toys for the kids. Old school coffee pot FYI. Everything was just as stated. Kids really enjoyed the snow in the backyard. Very close to town TV. Lots of board games at the house and cards. ;)

Great condo in quiet complex

We were here with four of our kids (ages 5-16) for Thanksgiving week. The condo was clean and well furnished. The location is maybe a 10 minute walk to the lake and about 2 miles from Tahoe City. Everything about the process and the property was very good. Great communication ahead of time. We never needed to contact anyone while there, but knew they were available. The condo was well stocked. It's not right on the lake or right in town, but that was just fine for us.

The location of this unit is amazing. Lake is close and complex has paths for walking/biking and a playground for kids. The kitchen could use a few more utensils and cooking implements.
