Spacious Townhome in the Trees Rocky Ridge Unit #75

This is a large well kept condo with 2150 sf of space. It includes a master suite with den, 2 guest bedrooms, bonus room, living room with fireplace, dining room, family room and breakfast nook off the kitchen, 2.5 baths. Cable and Wifi are available for ease of communication while in the woods. The development is close to all that Tahoe City has to offer. Rocky Ridge is a gated community of 60 acres surrounded by State Forest Land, where you can enjoy nature on one of the many hiking or mountain biking trails just steps away. Amenities include 2 swimming pools, 2 spas, tennis, basketball, playground, Bocce Ball court and a private beach, annex located just down the road with parking and pier, BBQ facilities, clubhouse and volleyball court. Every vacation condo rental offers vaulted mountain-style ceilings, beautiful rock fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, all set in an open two-story floor plan.

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

*Forest View pool is being re-coated in Spring 2026, which may affect the opening date. No refunds will be given.

Met our needs

7 of us, 5 adults and 2 kids enjoyed this vacation rental. The sleeping accommodations were a bit tight for everyone, but there were plenty of bathrooms and living space. The 4th bedroom isn’t really a bedroom and the pullout couch didn’t really meet our needs, but we made it work. We had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked and very usable and we did several meals at home. There was a large living room, a dining area, a den with a second dining area a nice patio, plenty of seating inside and out. There were games and puzzles which were enjoyed. The private beach was nice, but was more of a dock than a beach. There were nice chairs, shade to sit in and we were able to launch our paddle board and swim off the end of the dock. However, there was no sand or water entry from shore. The furniture in the rental was dated but functional. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, would definitely return. Hoping having this info helps other families.

Great Tahoe Getaway

The property was spacious and in a lovely wooded setting close to Tahoe city. The grounds and amenities were really nicely maintained and a big plus to have. The property management company was very responsive. Would definitely go again!

Beautiful Place!

The place is beautiful! Very well stocked and comfortable. A better map to the condo would have been helpful as we arrived at night and Google Maps wasn't very good. It was nice and warm when we got there which was nice! The downstairs extra bathroom hot water didn't work, so we all used one bathroom, wasn't really a problem. Would stay there again without hesitation!

Rocky Ridge Fun!

Great place to stay just outside of Tahoe City. We absolutely want to go back again. The townhouse was really well stocked with linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were really comfortable and everything was clean. The community is beautiful! I was disappointed to find that the 2 community pools that were advertised on the listing were completely empty and closed for the season. We had our swimsuits packed and ready only to find that amenity was not available.

Great condo!

This is a great place to stay! Plenty of space for our family. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The living room couches and bathrooms are dated but everything was very clean. We used the private beach several times and loved how close and not crowded it was. The grounds in the complex are very well maintained and quiet. We watched some amazing sunsets every night! My kids were very disappointed that the pools are not currently open which was the main reason we booked this place. We wish this had been communicated to us prior to booking but management reminded us that amenities are not guaranteed. So my advice to anyone booking in the summer who wants to use the amazing pools/hot tub to ask if they’re open first before booking.

Don't pass this one up

I was pleasantly surprised by this property. I knew it was an older condo, but it was extremely clean, the perfect setup for our party of 9, and very comfortable. There were more than enough linens for everybody, which is quite often not the case. I always bring extra linens blankets and towels, but we did not need any of that. Everything we needed was abundant. The kitchen had every utensil one would need. The barbecue was clean and ready with propane. That location is great. We rode our bikes into town several times. But please note, there is a hill getting to the condo that is pretty steep. Parking was easy. Both pools were fabulous. One has an amazing view to take in. We felt very spoiled by being able to choose between two pools. My kids played basketball and volleyball. I wish I would have brought our tennis rackets. The private beach is not far away, and it was fabulous. I had a great experience with the property managers. Everyone I talked to was super helpful and kind. We actually left some jewelry at the unit, and they made sure to retrieve it and send it to me. I felt like that was going above and beyond. We will definitely be back. Shannon W.

Fantastic location!

We loved the location— beautiful views, nice pool, tennis, basketball. Access to the beach and the pier was awesome. We got a parking space each day we drove down there. It was so nice drinking coffee on the deck in the morning. The kitchen appliances and supplies could use some sprucing up - blender leaks, coffee pitcher leaks, refrigerator ice and water doesn’t work. When we called about the refrigerator management was very responsive but even after visit from handy man it wasn’t fixable. Clearly these little things are not deal breakers but if you are big cooks (like we are) I’d bring your own knives.

Rocky Ridge #75

This was our THIRD time renting this cabin over the past few years (we would have rented it more, but it's sometimes taken on dates we would like it). We feel so cozy in this cabin. We love the amenities of Rocky Ridge and especially love the proximity to beautiful hiking trails right out of the back door. Our kids think of this cabin as a 2nd home - if only :). We cannot wait to come back!

Quiet, relaxing property

We enjoyed ourselves very much. Only complaint is that the deck and outdoor furniture needed cleaning before we could use it. Everything else was wonderful. When we called to get a full propane tank for the bbq, it was delivered within the hour. Very quiet location with well maintained pools, tennis courts, etc.
