Home Truths: - This home allows up to 2 pets for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStayâs approval may result in a $500 fine per pet. - This home does not have AC. - Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am. - Please note that all outdoor furniture and amenities, including grills, are seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day. - Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood-burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short-term rental regulations. - Chains or a 4x4 vehicle will be required, depending on the weather. Please check road conditions in the winter months to see if they are needed.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

Cabin was in great shape and close to the lake, with private beach access. Hot tub was wonderful. Cabin is close to a market, coffee shop and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.
Stayed with our family during our summer vacation. This cabin was delightful, clean and beautifully decorated. Check in/check out very easy. Cabin manual had great recommendations for beach and dining options.I recommend and would come back!
Perfect cabin for a visit to Lake Tahoe. Check in process was very easy and great convenient location near grocery stores, snow play area, and activities. The cabin was very clean and kitchen was well equipped. Super cozy and would definitely come back!
The house was very comfortable and clean, and in a fantastic location to get to all the West Lake Tahoe sights! It was perfect for our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). We enjoyed the stocked board games and hot tub. Parents of small children may want to know the back yard is not fenced, so you will need to keep an eye on them.
Top down, the amenities, setup, and hospitality was top notch. The property management covered a lot, from high end amenities (like shower products) to towels, to pots and pans, to cooking needs (olive oil and salt and pepper) and in keeping the home cool for summer nights with no a/c (fans in every room). Will book again!
Forest Views is a lovely, comfortably cozy, ground floor place. It is very neat and clean. Itâs perfect for anyone who really doesnât want the double or triple stairs in the bigger homes. The four stars was due to the sleeping options. While there is definitely enough sleeping options for 6 people, and the master is on the ground floor, that is the only one really viable bed for two people. The second larger bed is against two walls, requiring the second person to crawl over the other. Thatâs where cozy comes in. On the plus side, they use fitted sheets. Making a bad with flat bottom sheets, oddly, are an annoyance for us. It also has a terrific fireplace. AvantStay provided professional, friendly and responsive service. While this particular location may or may not always fit our needs, when looking for other options, weâll begin with AvantStay.
