A lovely mid-century Taiwanese home

Lane Alley is lovely, it’s in a good location near Hayashi Department Store and the Confucius Temple and is a great example of a restored mid-century Tainan house. The original ‘star glass’ windows are beautiful and the coffee every morning is much appreciated. The service is also very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Because it’s a house, not a hotel, not every room has its own bathroom. I bet all the rooms are great, but we were happy we paid a little extra for the in-room bathroom.

Very pleasant stay at a convenient location

Walking distance from the main area, but hidden in the alley (as named), therefore it's very quiet at night. The host is very welcoming and passionate, serving coffee in the morning and preparing local soy milk at night. The experience at Tainan is supurb and i'll be back. Not to mention that they have very nice beddings that I had the best sleep in my taiwan trip.

老闆和管家提供了在地的資訊，每天的手沖咖啡都用上新鮮烘焙的豆，加上每朝早大家也天南地北地聊天，清潔的房間和地產地消的小吃和日用品，都是令我選擇入住這間舒適、溫暖並獨特的民宿。

老闆非常nice，服務也算到位，但老房子的隔音還是一大問題，旅客聊天、門口走動或是飲水機晚上自動加熱的聲音都是不在原先想像的範圍內，如果對聲音不敏感的人其實還不錯

CP值高的民宿

入住ㄧ樓的和室房，很乾淨，也很舒適。請房東提供多兩個枕頭也大方提供。ㄧ樓有小院子和客廳可走動，也有冰箱飲水機。很安靜的空間。浴室在房間外面，但可以上鎖，所以私人用品可以放在裡面。整體來說CP值滿高的。出巷子右轉有幸福鍋貼早餐不錯吃，林百貨和中山路無名米糕也在附近。算方便唷！

住一個老房子，交一個老朋友

主人用簡單卻也最費力的方式去整理這間房子，因此保留了許多房子既有的樣貌，而衛浴的部分也可感受到主人的品味及質感，現泡的鳳梨蜂蜜冰茶也很貼心。拐個彎走個幾步就可以到台南市立美術館二館，早上走出巷口運氣好也能吃到幸福的鍋貼。 住了兩晚，也聽主人分享許多老屋的故事，主人也會不吝嗇的分享好茶好咖啡，彼此就像老朋友一樣的寒暄，非常愉快的一次旅行。

很不錯

這次入住的是滿天星，不過也是因為臨時要訂房，趕緊找了這間! 滿天星的缺點是衛浴不在房間內，進出會比較不方便，不過民宿主人很熱情，我們入住的時候剛好碰到午後雷陣雨，先讓我們使用大毛巾，又再拿新的給我們!!很不錯!下次入住應該會選其他房型的客房!

有家的感覺

老闆非常有人情味，非常熱情的請我們喝手沖咖啡，很好喝！距離各種景點都非常方便，台南美術館２館、孔廟、海山路都超級近！房間布置簡單但很舒適，只是樓上房客腳太種稍微有點打擾到，但整體非常喜歡，絕對會再入住！
