Often need a clean basic stop in Khao Lak for diving. This place felt very run down. The shower was a mere trickle - couldn’t even wash off sand. Tiles worn and dirty. Nothing horrid but nothing special... and others offer much better value.

Simple & Central
The rooms are basic, but for the price & location it can’t be beat! Cheaper than most hostels and you have a private room. AC was strong, hot water, friendly staff & breakfast is available, which is nice bc many tours leave very early in the morning & most shops in town are closed. Beach is about 10-15 minutes walk down the street. For a clean, comfortable, simple stay in the heart of Khao Lak stay here!

Decent and pretty clean. A little neglected but fine especially for the low season price. Very convenient location to most restaurants and bars in Khao Lak. Go elsewhere for tour, taxi, etc info.

Good value for what you get but a bit dated.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was okay. Gigantic comfortable bed. But pillows were rock hard and gave me a bad neck. Swimming pool could be useful and I saw some people using it, but didn’t get the chance myself. It needs some work as the waterfall at the back doesn’t work like it does in the pictures. Room was a bit unloved. The door to the bathroom was stiff and took both hands and a lot of heaving and screeching noises to open/close. Room had a working fridge, air con and hot shower which all worked well. Location right in the thick of everything so loads of choices for food and drinks. Approx 10 min walk to the beach. Fairly good value for our one night stay. Room could do with a bit of an update though.

Great small hotel
This is the second time we have used Fasai House, I think there were some slight improvements this time. The pool was much cleaner and the WIFI was very good. Very convenient for the town and eateries. Beach is approx 15 minute walk but well worth it. You can walk for miles along the beach and the sand is fine and golden. Well worth taking a beer down there to watch the sunset at approx 6.30pm!! Cheap street food outside the supermarket by the traffic lights. Get a beer in the supermarket, order your Phad Thai and sit with all the others on the benches supplied...all for about £3 for the 2 of you!!.
