Mögelvarning

Skulle tillbringa 12 nätter på hotellet men var tvingade att ta in på ett annat hotell. Vi blev visade till vårt rum men det var helt obeboligt pga en mycket kraftig mögelstank, vi blev erbjudna 5-6 andra rum men det var lika illa där. Ett råd i all välmening om ni planerar att bo här under er thailandsvistelse, gör det inte välj ett annat.hotell.

Secluded and serene

While the pool area has not been updated, the hotel in its entirety was fabulous! It felt as though I was the only person there and was truly a wonderful escape from most of the tourist hustle and bustle. I had the entire beach to myself and enjoyed undisturbed time with a book and the sound of the waves. If you want to escape the tourism of Thailand, Tacola is the place to go!

Dette var så dårlig at jeg avbryter etter bare 2 netter. Reiser et annet sted i stedet. Rett og slett bortkastede penger, selv om det var billig å bo her så er det ikke verdt det. Stedet er så forfallent og forlatt og svarer overhodet ikke til bildene som ligger på netter. De yter heller ikke transport til flyplass som beskrevet ! Blir henvist til taxi ved ferjeområdet ! Totalt misvisende. Meget, meget skuffet. Kunne spart meg for masse tid og penger om opplysningene på nettet stemte.

Leider eine total herruntergekommen schön angelegte Anlage, es wurde nie etwas renoviert, Poolwasser sah aus wie ein grüner Tümel, Poolbar war leer, keine Liegen am Stand, Frühstück bestand aus Toast mit Marmelade und Obst, die warmgehalten Thaigerichte waren ungenießbar... Wir hatten eine Spa Villa gebucht, diese war wirklich schön

Nära både strand och centrum

The Tacola resort och spa har definitivt försämrats under de senaste åren. Personalen är vänlig och hjälpsam . Man har påbörjat en uppfräschning av byggnaderna i år. Frukosten är ok, men inte mer än så. Vi kommer att återkomma, på grund av läget, i princip på stranden och med promenadavstånd till hamnområdet som är centrum på ön. Ett stort plus är att vi som skandinaver är välsedda på hotellet och har uppgraderats från bokat rum till olika slags bungalows de senaste gångerna.

OK hotel, men det vrimler med larmende russere!!!!

Det var et dejligt hotel og da vores rum ikke var ledigt fik vi en gratis opgradering til en større hytte i hele perioden. Der er en dejlig pool der ca. 75 m fra stranden, hvor man skal passe på understrøm og store bølger - ikke egnet til små børn! Personalet er som altid venligt i Thailand. Hotellet er temmelig nedslidt over alt. I vores hytte var noget af taget på badeværelses utæt og vi havde meget regn i en periode, samt meget utæt over den udendørs terasse. Det allerstørste problem med hotellet var de russere der også boede der. De fleste gæster var russere. Det var ekstrem larmende, holdt fester udendørs i deres hytte til langt ud på natten, med masser af sprut og efterladt mad, som hundende smed rundt over alt. Hvis de ville have en ekstra parasol, stjal de bare naboens og smed deres ting (der hang i parasollen) rundt om på jorden. Desuden kørte både voksne, større og mindre børn rundt på scooter på alle stikvejene - dag og sent aften - og med stor fart. Der var også problemer til den gratis morgenmaden, hvor russerne stjal mad til resten af dagen og dermed tømte fadene. Overtjeneren havde tit fat i dem, men så snart han vendte ryggen til, stoppede de det hele ned i de poser de havde med. Så det er grunden til, at jeg ikke kan anbefale hotellet! Det skal lige siges, at vi ikke var de eneste ikke-russere det var meget træt af deres opførsel. Min datter (19) har rejst kloden rundt, men aldrig mødt et mere utilpasset folk end de russere
