Talloires Lakehouse Villa
Framed by the sparkling waters of Lake Annecy and the soaring peaks of the French Alps, Talloires Lakehouse Villa allows you to experience natureâs grandeur. From the moment you arrive, picture-book windows invite the outdoors in, bathing space in natural light and spectacular views.
Oak parquet and attractive furnishings set the tone for the villaâs sleek Scandinavian-inspired interiors, where elegance meets relaxed mountain living. The highlight of the house has to be the main living space that flows seamlessly from a state-of-the-art kitchen, with granite worktops and a central island, to an open-plan dining and lounge. Slide open the doors to the expansive terrace, where long summer evenings unfold over barbecued feasts and sundowner cocktails at the outdoor bar. We also love the separate TV lounge with its home cinema.
Whether youâre travelling with friends or family, Talloires Lakehouse Villa sets the stage for an unforgettable escape. Here, every morning begins with a view, and every evening ends with a sense of calmness only the lake can offer.

Location:
On the eastern shores of Lake Annecy, Talloires is a picture-perfect alpine village where dramatic mountain backdrops meet the shimmering waters of one of Europeâs most beautiful lakes.
Talloiresâ inviting lakefront is also home to a seasonal beach complete with diving boards, jumping platforms, paddling pool, volleyball court and a lively pizzeria hosting regular live music (do note, entry fees often apply to lakeside beaches in the summer). The nearby nautical centre offers a range of watercraft for hire, from kayaks and paddleboards to pedal boats.
Whether you're hiking to panoramic viewpoints, canyoning in the hills, playing tennis in scenic surrounds, or pedalling along the famous Lake Annecy cycle path, Talloires is an outdoor loverâs paradise. For a more laid-back day, summer boat shuttles glide across the lake to Annecyâs old town and neighbouring villages.

withput doubt the property has a 5 star view and location but it does not have a 5 star service. Some elements are strucutral - for example one lavatory for 8 people on the first floor and a sheer cliff surrounding the garden where fototballs are lost ( a fence would be good). Notwithstanding we found the service not up to standard. We were without hot water for four days which given there was a 7 month old baby was a trial. When the sink blocked - which we were warned about, again it took 2 days to rectify and despite paying for cleaning, the cleaner only changed the linen after the first week. The welcome pack was parsimonious to say the least and not refreshed after the first week so we had to buy toilet paper and washing up liquid which felt a bit mean given there was no reduction in prcie for 2 weeks. Given the stunning architecture, the fittings were ikea which felt wrong and the hanging space in the penthouse was risible. We did enjoy our stay there as the spaces worked perfectly for this extended family but I think, with the exception of the lavatory issue, some small adjustments would make a huge difference and bring it up to the 5 stars that it deserves.
